 Hey guys n gals,

So I just came across a snag in that apparently you cant activate legion and then continue to do other character loyalty missions or DLC without the crew being abducted? 

I still have loyalty quests to do as well as DLC content 38 hours into the game, and my last save is actually back when you first enter omega.

Is it possible to keep legion deactivated thus preventing the crew from being abducted? or will this happen regardless?

Id like to be able to get everything done without risk of crew deaths before entering the omega 4 relay:/
Am i going to have to restart the gameT_T?

It will happen anyway. The time limit is not triggered by Legion's activation, it's getting the IFF, if I remember correctly. To avoid this, you have to avoid going to the derelict Reaper and do loyalty missions before that...the game doesn't force to to go get the IFF immediately.

You can do loyalty missions after they are abducted, but be warned that the crew will die if you don't head to the Omega Four relay immediately.

If you are worried primarily about DLC, those can be completed post-suicide mission.

Yeah, you can do a maximum of two missions after you acquire the Reaper IFF. Do everything else you need to get done before the Suicide Mission, before you go to the Derelict Reaper.  After the Suicide Mission you can safely do DLC (and the Shadow Broker and Arrival DLC were arguably meant to be played after the Suicide Mission).

you can have your "arguably"for shadow broker but arrival makes no sense before the suicide mission

You should save Tali's loyalty mission until last so you can bring Legion with you it makes the entire thing twice as fun believe me.

^^^wow that does sound intersting. ive been bringing tali on geth missions alot, but usually disappointed in the lack of dialogue she offers. for instance i brought her along for legions loyalty mission, and she hardly mentioned anything when i was making that final choice.

but ya that would be priceless, bringing a walking geth into the fertilla. all those qua-rians would be freaking out
