Probably not, because they use Unreal version March 2010, which doesn't support DX11. Heck, they just added DX11 support with UDK Beta march 2011.

@RyuGuitarFreak: DX9 doesn't support multisamping AA with deferred engines, but post-effect AA (MLAA, FXAA etc) would work.

Would work in theory, not in practice.. any type of AA or multisampling is extremely GPU intensive... it's just not something the archaic GPUs in the Xbox and PS3 are capable of really (not if they want to maintain constant 30fps anyway).

the ability to use advanced features for the pc should definitely be implemented, especially considering this is the "final" entry for mass effect. Hi-Res texture pack should be an absolute must if it isnt built in. Anti-aliasing and dx10/11 support better be supported if they dont have the hi-res textures. i am giving bioware due-credit for this. they have skimped a bit in the past (me2 garrus.....come on), but they are evidentally going all out on me3. Pushing it back is slaughtering my patience, but it will be worth it so long as the graphics are up to par.

forget MLAA, i want SSAO, **** looks gorgeous on the witcher 2. I thought that depending on the renderer you can infact get DX9 to support multisampling?

Not a chance. They didn't even upgrade the textures for the PC versions of ME1&2.

How do you activate DX11? I have a Geforce GTX 470 1280mb graphics card. Is it turned on automatically?

What is DX11? Is that the same as multiplayer? If so then yes, ME3 supports multiplayer confirmed.

LOL don't get your hopes up. Bioware doesn't give a rats ass about graphics in their games. They wont even give us proper high resolution textures.

Well, Witcher 2 looked amazing and it was only DX9 I believe. To be honest I will be content with high res textures and cutscenes that aren't all blurry.

DX9 is really outdated. DX9 is good until you don't want to implement advanced features, which makes the code bulky and non-efficient. Also features like Tesselation is already supported by XBOX360.

To be honest i found the UE3 engine very good. It's multi platform compatible with great customization and upgradability, as we can see in the Samatarian demo. Of course that video is also show the limits of the engine. Don't forget that Epic used 3 GTX590's to render the video in realtime. The next engine (UE4?) will be able to produce such details with less GPU power... that is what we call optimization.

ME graphics is still good but i agree that we should get higher resolution textures atleast on PC. Ohh and don't forget the animations ;)

You mean three GTX 580's. It's not possible to put three 590's in Sli because each one of them has two GPU's meanin that two 590's equal quad Sli.

DX11 is meaningless when used like in DA2, where the game still looked incredibly outdate afterwards. DX9 is fine for this generation of games.

While I agree with what you said, don't forget that DX11 is also used to make the games run better due to better optimization.

dx11 is an incredible performance boost compared to dx9. My very small computer runs Battlefield 3, and other dx11 titles with over 100 fps. While barely running dx9 titled smoothly.
