While we are all sorry to see her go, I do have to poke a little fun at the "well with her gone, they'll really mess up the game, cut RPG, botch combat, etc" comments I'm seeing as I remember back as we were leading up to ME2 how everyone thought Christina was doing a terrible job and messing up all the ME1 stuff. If I had more hours in teh day, I'd go back and look for teh same doom and gloom people to see if they said the same things between ME1 & 2.

I was sad to see Christina go as she was a great coworker and a lot of fun outside the office and at conventions as well as being incredibly smart with what she did for the games she worked on. Still, love conquers all and moved on. Yes, the team was aware of this with plenty of time and Preston Watamaniuk, the Lead Designer of ME1 and ME2 is stepping in to fill Christina's shoes.

I've added a german translation of your Thread and I'm going to update it at least four times a week, more often during events like Comic Con.
Almost nothing is changed but the language. Credit is given as well as links to this Thread and Phaedon, it's creator.

Sad to find out Christina's gone. I wish her luck in her life. I hear from reputable sources that's quite a cool thing to have.
This. Christina has always been very active and very friendly with the fans. I've appreciated the kind way she's spoken with people, even if they've gotten hostile at times.
Also, shes's still plugging the game on her twitter, so I highly doubt that she left over disagreements. Let's take it at face value: she got married and wants to do the married life thing. I don't think anyone can blame her for that.

Hopefully, the game won´t suffer from the change in designers....
Anyway, wish her well! Perhaps she´ll have the chance to work on future ME games!

First thing that came to mind actually after seeing some of the comments. All one can do is roll their eyes and move on. Seriously, good luck to Cristina and all she wants to do in future but keep it low on the elevation to higher planes.Chris Priestly wrote...

She made a damn good job, but I'm not too worried, Preston'll probably do a great job too.

When you say Lead designer of ME1 and ME2, don't you mean ME3 as well or do you have a different Lead Designer for ME3?Chris Priestly wrote...

I love banter and the way it fleshes out team members, and makes them seem like they have a life outside the PC and PCs mission.

Such is what it takes to be a Grey Warde... uh, I mean Bioware employee.
