Yes, which did happen to ME1. But I'd hardly think they'll cut it out this time.

Well Raphael confirmed that he recorded lines for both genders, so there's no worries that he isn't available as a romance option for both genders.

It's not something uncommon, though. They did that with the other games and then chopped some of it out.

My memory isn't the best and please correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't they very early on in me1 have dialog planned for both genders for kaiden and ashley?

2. ME3 will feature a female comm specialist, with little combat experience, who will notify you of any new messages.

Sounds like Kelly's job to me.

Look, it's real simple: Kelly was a yeoman.  Kelly was not a comm specialist.  So regardless of the fact that this person will mention messages, they aren't doing the same job.

Unless to can provide some actual evidence, that her role will be something more than message reminders on spam, thankyou letters, mission or appointment updates.  then YES she IS doing the same exact job--despite her supposed job title.

Read the leak then.

The comm-specialist is doing the same thing Kelly was doing for Shepard in terms of messaging and fowarding. However, I can also imagine that she'll be monitoring any transmissions that are incoming to the Normandy. Kelly wasn't checking in on the messages Tali received from the Migrant Fleet regarding her trial or Garrus' messages regarding his mom.

Kelly- as Yeoman encompased more then just messages. She also checked on the crew - made sure they were mentally well. Didn't you talk to Kelly in the beginning? I guess you can say that Kelly's job was split up. Kelly's role is a secretary. She'd answer the phone as "Shepard's office." while comm-specialist would answer "SSV Normandy - how may I direct your call?"

Oh and Kelly feeds your fish. This new girl will not:P

I reolize how passionate people are about love intrest threads. I myself have at least one playthrough where I've romanced everyone possible with no drama instore from cheating on anyone. However, considering how important they have made paragon and renegade persuasion to the game I would really like to know if they will allow us to get all of the paragon/renegade points we had earned by the end of ME2 or will they again like they did in the port from 1 to 2 set a cap on how much will import into ME3. My paragon playthroughs have over 4 full bars of paragon without adding class skill points to increase it.

I'm guessing it will work like ME2 (you get a small bonus but your bar is pretty much reset to zero).

I haven't heard anything solid about this though.

I remember that in ME2 if you imported you got your bar 1/5 of the way filled, which is a decent bonus.

I can understand they could rationalize the loss of paragon/renegade as Shep needing to reprove themself after dying. IE that he/she is the same person they were in the first game. This time around the designers don't have the same exuse to cap our imported paragon/renegade scores. I do see them making the amount possible for ME3 much larger and thus our score would reflect as a fractional amount of that larger maximum. However they have no reason to take away what we have earned this time when we import to ME3.

Well Paragon/Renegade score reset would be fine with me if they did that. I mean they should take from infamous 2 a bit in that regards, you dont exactly import but you have the opition to pick what side you were going for on the first game and do get bonuses like your power color reflects good or evil. Maybe the score can reset still for the Moral meter but if your Renegade and kept the scars that would show, not sure on how Renegade Shepard looks when removing the scars.

It is, but as you can tell Mark Meer recorded the femshep lines.  My point being that Meer, Hale, Sbarge and Brooks all recorded lines for the opposite gender.  The reason was it was faster to record all the lines whether they used them or not.

Easy to see why they cut it though it's just creepy.

I have a question about Bioware studios.
So, Bioware Austin made SWTOR. And which Bioware studios currently working on ME3 and DA3?

Edmonton for ME3 (mostly) and DA3. Montreal is working on ME3's co-op.

Alright, what about ME 1-2 and DA 1-2? Same studio?

Um, not really.  They tweet about playing it.  Out of curiosity, why do you know who works in which studio , but not what those studios work on? Also, I don't think even half of one half of the Edmonton team tweets, period.  There are a lot of people working on the game.
