I hope he played the demo, because that stuff sounds very exciting.

Considering he skipped Sur'Kesh, it's very possible he played the Demo.

I just wanted to make sure.

You can change the color of your guns, right?
And the color is not connected with the weapons upgrade, right?

After that, you learn that Cerberus had one of its own on the research staff, a woman named Eva, and she's been using this time to grab the data and she starts transmitting it. There's a chase sequence and it turns out she's been cybernetically enhanced (and heavily so from the sound of it). You chase her and she makes it her shuttle, but Vega saves the day by smashing into it with some kind of vehicle (article doesn't specify). This has the side-effect of wrecking the comm gear she had on her. Unfortunately, it doesn't kill her, and she attacks Kaidan, nearly killing him. Shep takes her down for good, and it's off to the Citadel.

It looks like Kai Leng is not the only one to recieve mechanical implants to improve themselves in battle.
Also, sounds like massive spoilers to me. Chris, would you kindly take down the forums that contain massive spoilers?

It's from an article that Bioware allowed to be printed, so fair game.

I think it's the other way around. The colors are tied to the weapon mod.

Damn,
I thought it might be like that.

Oh well, that what texture mods are here for.

Hub worlds?

Actually, that could be worth a thought. If you buy an upgrade at a shop, or are on a hubworld to start a mission, it might be nice to be able to upgrade at the hubworld rather than have to treck to the Normandy or hope for a mod opportunity in the next fight.

Well, you usually have some mission-related reason for being at a hub, so I consider that "in the field".

I believe they said there are workbenches placed around in the various areas just like there were weapon racks to change your weapon loadout in ME2.

I could imagine that some merchants also have workbenches in there shops.
Like a weapons or upgrade merchant.

Umm.... ok I know I am a Mass Effect n00b but could someone relink to the Youtube video, for some reason I am having trouble finding the video again.:pinched:

 Tali and Galaxy mapPosted Image

Thanks jasonsantanna, video really helped me to find a minor error/mistake(*) in the location one of the Clusters on the Mass Effect 3 Map as compared to its real life location.   I suspected the error after carefullying looking at the Mass Effect 1 map and what people where saying about certain real life planets.  Because I am neither sure who best to contact in developers nor if they are able to fix this error this last to the ME3 date, I am pming Phaedon have him look it over.  The actual error they made is actually quite common and a figure Phaedon is either part of Mass Effect team or know who to forward my pm to on the Mass Effect team. ;3

P.S.  I am mainly posting this to make sure Phaedon know he has a new message at his private terminal.

I certainly wouldn't mind doing some! I have some stuff left to do for the Multiplayer thread I promised Chewin3 (Sorry Chewin3!) and some unpublished banners you haven't seen yet! Things got kind of complicated last month, but I'll try getting back on track tomorrow. :)

Would the style of the current Known Features Thread signatures be okay? Or do you have some other designs in mind? :wizard:

Edit: Just added the Banner to the Characters Section. The rest will have to wait until I get home. ;)

Some info we should add, but not sure where to put or to put at all:

From GameMaster magazine( don't know how to link to specific posts):

"(...) James Vega. We're told his personality is based on Sawyer from the Lost."

I guess we could put it in Character section, Vega's "Note" column?

"A new reputation system rewards those players who'd rather not conform solely to Paragon or Renegade Shepard. Now playing it straight - sympathising with some people and snapping at others - will also grant you some unique dialogue options. Importing old saves will mean you start with extra reputation as well..."

Lot of people are happy about it, but not exactly sure what this means.

Like better explanation, since I think my English is derping here.

"Fed up of your dying when you're off gallivating around space? Well fret no longer: somewhere in the world is... [drumroll] an automated fish-feeder! It's like our prayers have been answered."

"(...) as you play ME3 you'll collect 'War Assets'. These are the people, places and armies you befriend along the way, and each one has a numerical value associated with. Asari Justicar Samara might be worth, say, +25, while a squad of soldiers is worth +65 to your asset total. Add them all up and you have your 'Total Military Strenght' value, which is then multiplied by your 'Readiness Rating'. We're told all the external experiences - the co-op multiplayer mode and the social games - feed into this Readiness Rating to let you win with fewer assets. Plug in the numbers and out pops your 'Effective Military Strenght' value - a total figure that seems to let you trigger the endgame once you hit a threshold. In a interesting twist, not every 'good' choice is going to bum your Assets."

Where to put that?

Several from Twitter:

"Ooohhh, that's a good idea. Maybe Bioware should just issue a second disk for "secondary" purposes."

I put in the info about Vegas personality under his profile in characters subsection

Dev Promises: Gameplay?  I'd put it in Story since it's tied to that

I'm not 100% sure about this being true just yet, I've asked him for confirmation but no response yet.

Not sure where it is but I believe there was an info from before that said that Normal is the new Veteran...I'd put this where that was put (I can't find it atm, maybe Dev Promise: Gameplay?)

Looking over some things in the Story there are some data that no longer is true:

"Thane is back, at least as a temporary squadmate, and you work with him to deal with hostage situation on the crime-ridden planet of Invictus. The hostages are hanar scientists working on a cure for Thane's disease. [XBOX World]"

This was something originally posted on the forums from someone who said he had early access to that issue, but when the issue came out it was just talking about multiplayer...

-------------------------------------------

"You can change the colour and camouflage of weapons. [OXM]"

This is limited to the mod being used, it's not like you can change the weapon colour to say pink
I'm not sure whether to alter this or just delete outright...

----------------------------------------------

"The rewards from Importing saves will, for the most part, be similar to what was awarded when importing into ME2. [link]"

Added this to imports page with twitter answer I got from Preston Watamaniuk
I don't know what number we are on (still learning all of this) so I just used the word 'link' if anyone knows the number they can update it with it.

---------------------------------------------

Added this to Story:

A Reputation system will be added which rewards those that don’t necessarily conform to solely Paragon or Renegade, rewards include special dialogue options [link]

Added this to Imports:
You will receive a bonus to ‘Reputation’ (a new feature to ME3) if you import a save [link]

"Can you confirm that #ME3 for PC utilizes keyboard shortcuts for codex/squad menu/mission? What about weapon keybinds? #ME3"

"No to the menu shortcuts. I think you can do weapon shortcuts. Fairly sure 360 is 2 discs."

No PC menu shortcuts.
ME3 for Xbox comes in two disks
Weapon shortcuts (keybinding) is likely in

Nah, that's okay, I told you there wasn't a rush with it. I'll be switching the MP blog to Google Docs with Phaedon this week (I hope) so if possible, somewhere around this week would be wonderful.

And a banner would be nice. A different sig than 'Known Features' perhaps. Otherwise people will get a bit confused when they only glance at the sig. I haven't thought of any design, but I'll try to have something up as soon as possible, if no one else has any ideas.

Phaedon already stated that we are not taking care of Pre-order and promotional items.

That is unless he decides to change his mind and we should create, as Vertigo said, a separate document off the promotional items, but for now, it's a no go.
