some question guys, are the promo/dlc helmets and armors from ME2 will be present in ME3? i've seen them on the GTTV coverage on the multiplayer part so i'm just wondering if its usable in the single player. thanks guys.

Ummm...any new news lately? I'm happy with everything in Mass Effect 3. I'm though still waiting news about Vehicles, Expliration-Open Worlds and Offline, Local Multiplayer.

Curious about the Rachni Queen being moved to antagonists. Is this a guess or is there something that came out recently to suggest this?

I would like to know this too abt the Rachni Queen. I saved her in all my different characters. Figured she would be a good ally. She even said she would help me when the Reapers came, in ME 2. Although I am lucky in that I destroyed the reaper base. I hope they don't move the Geth to the Enemy side also.

It's not because of the leaked script since we made a concious decision not to use info from it. It does look creepy and threatening. Also, since there will be rachni husks regardless, maybe it's just a listing until we get more info.


Still,  I agree that it feels like people or overspeculating about the Rachni's fate in Mss Effect 3.  I feel like we should add a foot note of somesort.  In fact, I saw a * symbole for that particular article but I could not find the footnote.  Anyone know what the * points to or says??

Also strangley enough it looke more cute in ME3 than it ME1 at least to me it does.  Althought maybe its becuase blue is such an awesome color :P


So wait, is the Rachni Queen evil or not? I'm getting conflicting signals here.

I've read the Known MP features, and it says that the characters will have up to 3 powers. By the devs tweets, I know that 2 of the engineers powers will be overload and incinerate. Do you guys know what will be the third power? combat drone? Turret? Sabotage?

I'm not sure that the sentry turret is in MP. But I think I read somewhere that you can carry only 2 power in Battle,  but you can choose between several. I think I read that in gamestar.

Only 2? Damn, that's very restrictive. Gues I'll just stick with Overload (for shields and synthetics) and Incinerate (for armor and organics). I hope these powers get more "power", or the engineer class will be very weak compared to other classes. I mean, I had to use Heavy Overload at least 5 times to bring down the shields of an YMIR Mech on ME2. [On Insanity of course]

if you killed the rachni queen i'm guessing Cerberus "revives" her or clones her and if you saved the rachni queen cerberus "converts" her, this is just my speculation on why the rachni queen is an antogonist, i don't think BW wants to "punish" those who killed the queen but it then kinda makes the choice irrelevant

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall at some point during this little hard-to-find side quest somebody left a note somewhere saying the rachni that Cerberus was experimenting on were different from the ones on Noveria because they developed in "proximity to the master control unit" or something like that.  Considering that the rachni on Noveria went crazy because they were kept separate from the Rachni Queen, this could suggest that perhaps Cerberus has a Rachni Queen of their own.

EDIT: And in response to the new title, my brother is so arachnophobic that he won't go near games like Dragon Age and Skyrim because you have to fight spiders, but he'll play Mass Effect.  I guess the rachni don't have enough spidery features (in contrast to generally bug-like features) to scare him.

Well, with 3 powers I can add Sabotage to the list. But still, I hope those powers get "more powerfull", cause compared to vanguard's combo "Charge, Shotgun, Nova, Shotgun", a single Overload and then SMG shots while waiting for the tech cooldown seems to be very unbalanced.

Actually, "Major" Flores says that the current batch of rachni is also from Noveria, but is supposed to be different from the previous group in that it developed in proximity to blah blah blah. Doesn't rule out the idea of a Cerberus queen, but it seems to be more likely that it's just a reference to the queen from Rift Station, and that Tartakovsky/the queen/Han Olar/etc. failed to mention them to you.
