I'm pretty sure that Turian Biotics were used in specialized commando units?
Oh boy, you're right. I just remember the backround story from Kaiden with the turian Commander Vyrnnus.
Totally forgot about him. Well then, I withdraw my past comment.

Also I believe Turian biotics are put into special groups called Cabals.

Actually, on this subject -- if i recall correctly. there are supposed to be quarian biotics, but they're just supposed to be very rare. i can't actually remember ever finding a quarian biotic in me 1/2 though.
Have i not been looking hard enough or are there actually none to be found in-game ?

No, I don't believe there are any quarian biotics in either game.
Or maybe there were and we just didn't know it, i.e one of the quarian NPC's(such as on the Migrant Fleet) could have been a biotic and we just didn't know it.

Oh well, maybe in ME3 we'll get to see some in action then.
Still though, the migrant fleet only has a population around 17 million, and the fact they are unlikely to get any accidental eezo exposure, i could easily imagine there being only a few every generation or so, so we might nog get to see any at all..

I hope BW changes the races for each class. I mean when was the first time you saw a biotic turian? Well I haven't.
Turian biotics are very uncommon indeed, but the funny thing is, that turians tend to assign their biotics to specialist teams, which in this case, what the MP characters are.

I don't know....the Turian sentinel in the trailer was very Infiltrator-ish, my theory is that Bioware didn't have enough slots for Turian infiltrator and Krogan vanguard, so they put them in the Sentinel class, but they are supposed to be played like Turian infiltrator or Krogan vanguard.

it says somewhere in the lore that quarian biotics are essentially nonexistant because any situation where an infant is exposed to Element zero nearly always causes the death of the entire ship... makes the pool of potential biotics very small

Yeah, even with the bad effects and mortality rate the eezo exposures have on humans, with the weak immune system quarians are supposed to have that's pretty unlikely to happen accidentally.
i do remember reading somewhere that the krogan had a method to induce biotic abilities on it's soldiers (though it was discontinues because of high mortality rates) with all the quarians going out to search for something usefull for the migrant fleet, i could imagine some of more zealous generals trying to use the procedure on quarians if any research on the subject was ever recovered.
i guess all that's just wishfull thinking though, i'm just hoping to get to run around with a quarian in MP and still be able to use biotic powers. :innocent:

Maxing out your MP character lets you "transfer them to your SP game as a war asset." Does that mean your MP character may be a squad mate? War asset seems a little vague in this example.

War assets are kind of like currency in SP. It's a method of keeping track how much support you have, and adding MP chars will presumably add 10 points or so to your total. It's not a squadmate.Indoctrinated Spectre wrote...

Yeah, it's kind of clumsy if you want to get a specific ending but still play some MP... I hope it won't be automatic.

Damn, I guess once I finish my. . . five playthroughs, then I'll touch the multiplayer. It's disappointing to hear, as I don't want this game to hold my hand after several years.wPsychoWARD23 wrote...
