Tip of the the hat to you as well sir/madam.

All of you who have put this together; I simply notice Messina and Phaedon more.

Can weapons be upgraded to various 'levels' outside of attachments or did I imagine that? As in, Phallanx Lvl 2.

I think I imagined it.

Yes the weapons can be upgraded, up to Level 10 (you get an achievement for the first weapon you get to this level). No details yet on how to upgrade weapons or what effects upgrading them has. This is seperate to the mods that you can install.

Ahh yes, Reapers, that's where I had read it! The achievements list. Thanks for that.

In looking at the locations page I think maybe there's a small error. I realize the Mass Effect Wiki says the population of the Citadel is 13 mil and change, but am I crazy or did one of the books say it was 40mil? At its wiki size, it's smaller than the NYC metro area. Also if it were only 13, then Omega is about 3/4's as big which I also did not think was the case. Something doesn't feel right...

Concerning Illium and Invictus, there has been nothing on them in the leaked files. They may have been false rumors or removed. Infact, wasnt Invictus and Thane's mission confirmed as a hoax?

Can someone answer this guy's question? I would like to know myself.

I guess sorta answering my own question here: http://social.biowar...index/5585014/1

This thread includes the discussion of my quandry. Revelation does say that the population is 40million. People suggested that the 13.2 is permanant population and the rest is visitors, though that seems strange too. The ratio is kinda crazy for tourists.

Manveer confirmed on Twitter that ME3 will be a horrible PC port like ME2 i.e. no double click, scroll wheel etc. I'll update if I find the link
:crying:

UPDATE: unfortunately the unpleasant confirmation on the bad news:
twitter.com/#!/manveerheir/status/157135569988751363

Shame on BioWare for not implementing the PC functionality; I can understand the cost savings by not bothering but its still shameful!

Well, that is only about Menu shortcuts. And he thinks "we can do weapons shrtocuts". So it is not all bad news. But what about Mouse Wheel, Double Click, Enter key, Right Mouse Button? Will the work on Menus and Galaxy Map like they do work in ME1 and every single fraking game for the PC out there, ME2 excluded? Does anyone know anything about that?

Well I was just messing around, so no problem.

The script was from--according to the devs--pre E3 2011. So it is quite old, and the script was missing some plot info. And the Thane's mission was confirmed as a hoax, but don't see how that is something nerve braking. The devs probably decided to do something else with Thane.

I don't see how it is an impossibility, about there only living 13.2 million people and the amount of turists that visits the Citadel.

Population density and cost of living are extremely high, so no wonder why not a lot of people live there. And the Citadel serves as the political, cultural, and financial capital of the galactic community, so I can see people the "tourims" being high. New York has 47 million "visiting" it every year. I wouldn't be surprised if the Citadel had that amount every few months or so.

I can but I won't. Why should I make any argument at all when I asked a serious question and someone answer it by saying that it is bo ho ho crying about port? It was not. I just asked if anyone has any information if usual PC control stuff will work on ME3, menu hotkeys and weapons shortcuts excluded because that was answered by that BW guy.

1. The developers say all platforms should get a simliar experience.
2. ME2 had 2 hotkeys that could be customized on the xbox 360 namely the 2 shoulder buttons. They didnt even let you change what power was hotkeyed to the y button. Yet people still managed to enjoy the game and get every possible achievement.
3. If they were to give pc players the ability to hotkey everything under the sun it would not be a similar experience to the other platforms.
Therefore they most likely won't (or at least should not) allow massive hotkeying on the pc version of ME3.
ME3 will be a great game for all platforms so don't worry about getting unfair advantages on the pc port. Rather concern yourself with what palythrough you want to do first.

I think they should use the strengths of all platforms. Limiting one version of a game because of the limitations of another platform doesn't seem the right choice to me.

This also wouldn't explain why Xbox 360 gets voice commands and PC won't. Kinect uses the same speech recognition software as Windows Vista and Windows 7. They excluded this feature from the PC version so the Xbox version has an exclusive feature. Decent menu navigation would be a fair compensation.

BIT OF SPOILERS AHEAD ABOUT THE GALAXY AT WAR MECHANICS:

"You increase your Galaxy at War score by playing
the game, completing missions, finding war assets, etc. However, that
isn't the only factor in your GAW score. In order to deliver the full
power of your forces to the final confrontation, you need to increase
your Readiness score, which is the percentage of your fleet that you
will bring to end game.

Your Readiness score can only be increased
by playing Multiplayer (which you can play by yourself), or the
facebook or I-OS game. Unless you do, you're GAW will be stuck at 50%
and you'll be hard pressed to get a good ending. The bad part is that
your Readiness decays over time, something like 1%/day, meaning you have
to keep playing those things to stay at full power.
.."

Is this true? I mean... You will have a lot more harder time to get the good ending if you DON'T play the multiplayer?

If so, that blows. :(

This has to be BS! no way we'll be forced to play MP to get the best ending, while also playing the campaign!
