Oh, and um, I'm not sure if this info qualifies as something you can include in your post. I believe I've managed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that James Vega really and truly is the Big Ben sniper. Hopefully folks' current opinions of the lad will change once they realise he's been the BBS all along. Here's a link to my comment in Vega's thread for what it's worth.

Yeah. I actually noticed it on Mass Effect Wiki - there was a link to the article about the comic on the main page under the "Comics" section, but the link disappeared a few minutes after I clicked on it. The article itself is, however, at least at the time of this post still on the wiki - just search for "Invasion". Actual link to the Dark Horse page is below the wiki article in the section "References".Pepper4 wrote...

On the Dark Horse page immediately below the comic can also be seen the new Cerberus Normandy SR-2 model.

We still don't know if some weapons such as the Revenant, Claymore, Widow...will be class specific or if an Engineer can run around with the Revenant?
Listed under Dev promises:

"Could you comment wether the Advanced Weapon Training will have an impact in ME3? If so, how?"
"We are letting everyone use every weapon in me3 it's like full weapon training, an upgrade from advanced training"
So yeah it looks like Engineers will be able to run around with the Revenant.

...don't vanguards get something other than the Omni-blade?
If true, the poor soldier has nothing left going for him anymore - no more class specific weapon restrictions, any class can carry any weapon, 75% of their talent tree consists of passives (ammo powers are a glorified passive ability) and, if the above is true, his melee specific ability is shared as well ...
Poor, poor soldiers.

No good deed goes unpunished. I guarantee that Bioware will makes something up for the Soldier to give it the edge it lost. Such as being able to choose ANY bonus power, like in ME1. So give the Soldier Tech Armor, and you have the Soldier in ME1 with Electronics.
PURE TANK.

Isnt the omni-blade soldiers exclusive heavy-melee attack? I remember that the other classes are supposed to have their own exclusive heavy-melee. Arent they?

The Soldier will always have the almighty Adrenalin Rush...the most powerful offensive power in the game and with the ability to upgrade selectively you could have something like a 150% damage bonus...

However, they need the best weapons available to be able to compete with the other classes. Thats what soldiers are - weapon specialists.

there will be class only weapons in me 3 . The adapt , eng, and sent will have to use the basic weapons matlock or the incisor or the scimitar weapons In ME 3 I think

No. What ever weapons that you were trained on the collector ship will will transfer over from ME 2 Revenant will be the soldiers weapon only or the widow , claymore .Vanguard will have the claymore the infiltrator will have the widow .

So if they allow us to change classes in the beginning of ME3 than in theory an Adept could have the Revenant and a Solider could be without a Revenant due to changing classes after importing into ME3 right?
But will the Revenant be an import reward or do new players have a chance to get it?
