Because I hate how he carries the SMG and Pistol both on the same hip, when it would be better to have the pistol on the right hip for quicker draw. Small arm guns should have the quickest draw, since they are usually switched to in emergencies.

"Party members don't use any of the sync moves right now... they might eventually. They do have better melees available though (I think you guys have probably seen the new three hit chains for rifle and pistol)."
Not on only can squadmates melee but they can do chain melee attacks as shown in the leaked E3 video!
in that video you linked, is anyone conserned about how often the enemies simply waited for shepard to walk up to them and shoot them? i hope the AI isnt that blind.

No game has ever had a difficulty setting before.

i just look on google for new mass effect 3 news and this pop up Mass Effect 3: Murder, Pregnancy, Disease...Oh My Well, we want as many realistic options as possible, right?
In the Mass Effect series, you really need to think about your actions, because those actions have consequences. It's one of the biggest appeals of the game. And you can bet that BioWare is taking yet another step in Mass Effect 3, as several new character interactions have been revealed.
To start, there's pregnancy. We're not sure exactly how it will work, but feel free to interpret the following as you see fit: "Both male and female main characters will have the ability to become a parent; with humans or a non-human (unisex option)." ...okay, who's imagining some truly freaky offspring? But it doesn't end there, as characters can also spread and catch diseases, murder is an option, and yeah, the mysterious Tali may finally show her face. Who's waiting on that?
There's a whole living breathing sci-fi world in Mass Effect. Might as well make it as authentic as possible. this is the website that it was on http://www.psxextrem...-news/9555.html

Has there been any more Squadmates annoucements? Has there been any confirmed perm squadies?
No, we *might* get something from Gamescom or PAX though, seeing as those are big conventions.
But this is just me speculating

Also, slightly related; Will vehicle based transportation return? I enjoyed the hovercraft, but I think it could be more polished.

It was borken? I played Vanguard for one playthrough and I found it.... a little overpowered. Worked great though.

i hope theres a krogan teammate or at the very least a vorcha i need some vicious bastard on the front lines distracting and decimating my opponents while i line up my shots. who here is up for Shisk as a teammate?
A vorcha would have incredibly low health but fast regeneration rates. He would be a beast on lower difficulties, but Hardcore and above and he wouldn't last a minute.

Not exactly broken, but some annoying instances where Shephard wont charge, even when they are really close to you.(Gives you some really cheap deaths on Insanity)
That rings a bell. Mind you, I tended to die more often after a successful charge

Does anyone know if powers change visually after evoliution, in mass effect 2 it didn't change, but I think many people would like this feature

I'll just edit the locations section, I don't think it's important info to make a whole new update.

Vorcha?... lets remember the wise words of Salamul:
“...I suggest you not arm these morons...these ******-poor shots are likely to blast the broad side of your generators than hit their intended target...”

Why was there no comic that let me choose decisions on the PC version of ME2? Will there be one in ME3 if you import a ME2 save but you haven't played the first?
The comic was only for the PS3 version of ME2. There will be one for all systems in ME3, though I don't know if it'll let you choose ME1 choices, as it would have already assumed you'd done certain things if you imported a ME2 save. I imagine it would let you choose for both games if you didn't import, though.
Also, does anybody know what will happen with Kasumi and Zaeed in ME3? I'm guessing they won't be squadmates, seeing as they were DLC (which would suck if they were the only two that survived for you
Anyway, thanks for making this thread, Phaedon, it's been really helpful in keeping up to date on everything

There was no comic initially for the pc version of ME2. There is one now though. It is also available on the Xbox360 too. The annoucement post can be found here

Just because Shisk is the only Vorcha with a name and slightly different colors, and 3 lines of dialogue doesn't make him a viable squadmate option.
Vorcha:
- 20 years lifespan (no individual history / interesting background);
- Stupid (they are no Salarians);
- Brutal;
- Cannon fodder;
- Basically - space goblins;
- Not even funny;
- Ugly.
That ends Vorcha squadmate talks for me.
About squaddie meele - Grunt using his shoulder-bash was cool. I Hope we can see some cool meele personalized effects or finishers in ME3. For example some custom biotic animations for Liara (similar to what you can see in cutscenes), Krogan headbutts, some kind of Quarian-only tech attack and so on. It is not too much to ask for.
