Some how, I don't think you guys understand what someone means by "carpet matching the drapes" in terms of an actual person...but I'm pretty sure "carpets" still exist in the future. Though I don't think Asari have "carpets" since they don't have drapes either.

i look for new mass effect 3 news and this come up The rumors and debate over whether Mass Effect 3 would include a multiplayer component has been debated since before the game was officially announced at the last year’s Spike Video Game Awards show. Now we can debate whether multiplayer in the game is a worthwhile effort as a UK gaming mag cover confirms the addition to the traditionally single-player only sci-fi RPG.

Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 3 appears on the cover of Xbox World 360 along with Agent 47 from Hitman: Absolution and Master Chief from Halo 4 with text that exclaims, “New Levels – And Multiplayer!”

There are no details yet on what exactly multiplayer will look like in Mass Effect 3 so it could be anything from 5-on-5 deathmatches to co-op missions to something similar to Gears of War 3 Horde mode. Whatever it is, it is sure to cause some stir as gamers debate whether the time and attention spent on multiplayer will distract BioWare from what is one of the strongest single-player game series this generation.

We may not have to wait long to get the details as it sounds like the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will make its debut at Gamescom in Germany which runs from August 17 to 21.

I'm referring to said 'confirmations' coming from the mag, which many people here have accepted as true and definitive.

Nope, they lie.

I bought June's issue because the plastic cover stated "New Mass Effect content" then once opened the actually cover had nothing about it on. When I start reading all they did was a review of ME up to Arrival.

I expect they just quoted the carrying on rumour in an attempt to sell a couple more copies. I fell for their cheap trick once and I wont again.

I can't believe this MP crap keeps creeping up in this thread. It's been confirmed by Casey Hudsun himself that there is NOT going to be a MP option in ME3. I'm reposting Vertigo_1's post from over a week ago and hopefully get on with the main theme of thir tread.

OK I missed most of the episode but tuned in to hear this bit of info:

"Will there be multiplayer in ME3?"

"We looked at multiplayer for the Mass Effect series since the very beginning, but could not find a way to implement it without compromising the single player story...Mass Effect is very much about the story"

So there's your confirmation of MP in ME3; It's not happening

Go check the Gametrailers interview where Casey Hudson's quote comes from. If this doesn't sounds like definitive, I don't know what will.

I'm going to laugh hard if they do reveal MP at Gamescon this month. The rumors are strong and no Bioware employee has come out and and denied MP. They say they are focussed on SP they don't deny MP.

I say MP is a rumor with quite a bit of weight behind it. You guys can keep your little denial hats all you want.

It doesn't sound definitive to me because they could ahve figured out a way to "make it work" by now.

If someone from Bio had the stones to come out and say " MP will absolutely NOT be featured in ME3 in any way shape for form, including DLC and or expansions." Then I might believe the hype. It's been a lot of politco dance around the sentence word games so far. Nobody speaks plainly anymore ... WTF happened to human beings?
