2) The pictures may be the most adorable things I've seen all year; kudos to the designer.

Take a look at the new warning sign. Thanks Dark Star!
I'm glad you like it, and thanks for putting it up.

@Iohanna I put them yesterday but thanks again anyway.
Also translation for this image:
Or just change sign.
I still have the .xcf file for the image I created if you want that posted, or I could make translations myself if needed.

Hell no, ME3 doesn't need any kind of co-op
This, a thousand times this. It's a little late in this iteration of the Mass Effect story to shoehorn in multiplayer. I know EA tends to slobber over MP, but how much single player game will get sacrificed for this? There is plenty of time to develop ME games that support MP, I just don't believe that ME3 is the place to do it.

Missions outside of the main story, dedicated solely to the multiplayer component, have potential to be amazing. Imagine a four player squad of Turians, Palaven crumbling and burning all around them, fighting off oncoming Husk waves, trying to hold out as long as they can to buy civilian transports enough time to affect their safe escape. Give them context within the overall story and flesh out the universe by showing that the conflict is so huge that it encompasses far beyond what we see through the eyes of Shepard.
I'm converted. I'd *love* to play that.

I was emphatically opposed to multiplayer in Mass Effect. But as it's detailed there, that's the most intelligent and appealing way to implement it.

I'd love to play that, too, just not as part of ME3. I'm not a doomsayer by any means, but I can't help but worry that trying to shove two different games into one package will result in a lesser experience for both. I'd rather let both versions of the IP develop fully instead of piggy-backing MP onto ME3. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I am a little concerned about how it will turn out.

Oh and thanks to Chris of course for allowing the thread to be stickied, it really does deserve to be and I'm glad something was worked out.
I still don't see why the multiplayer rumours get the credibility they do. I just think it would be mad for BioWare not to announce multiplayer at E3 if they had found a way to fit it in. ME3 is always going to get good publicity, but E3 is a massive event that really gets the word out and a big surprise reveal of that sort would have gone down really well with those who actually want to see it. Personally I hope that BioWare haven't changed their stance and are still focused on making ME3 the very best single player game they can, there is no rush, no one expects this franchise to stop, a huge amount of gamers out there are happy to wait for a dedicated MP focused title post trilogy.

Some post on gamespot's forums in which a random poster wishfully (and inaccurately) interprets what they read in a now outdated magazine article hardly carries more weight than the word of Ray Muzyka himself.

Is that meant to be ME2, perhaps? Because we don't know how the ones in ME3 will work yet. Other than that, love reading all the new info! Glad we can tweak our imported Sheps instead of having to start over.
