You're absolutely right, I just hope they do.Vertigo_1 wrote...

ME3 won't be released in another 6 months, Arkham City is due in october, which is 7 months after the release of the march 2011 UT3 update, which is, according to your logic, and where you're probably right, too late to use that build, especially since Rocksteady had a complete build of Arkham City in March 2011 (source: www.destructoid.com/rocksteady-has-a-complete-build-of-batman-arkham-city-183076.phtml), comparable to where ME3 is now.
Also Medal of Honour and Homefront have (some) DX11 support... So it isn't impossible ME3 will support it as well.
And since DX11 support still isn't denied (in)officially NOR confirmed at this point it's still open to speculation, which is exactly what I'm doing, as are you.
Different teams (with different publishers) have different priorities. Just because one dev team decides to incorporate DX11 into their game doesn't mean another will (or has to).
I can understand they would try to keep the requirements similar to ME2's (1.8GHz Dual Core, 256MB shader 3.0 graphic card), since they're close to X360/PS3 specs, but weaker. We are speculating sure, but with the hints they are dropping such as their aim to keep requirements largely the same as for ME2, engine being used is a heavily modified March 2010 version, it seems more and more likely they won't support DX11.
Story and gameplay IS the most important thing, and I couldn't agree more!Aside from that DX11 isn't something I care for right now, I'd rather they focus on the story and gameplay.
