The adept gameplay that was shown was offscreen footage of Casey Hudson onstage answering questions while Jesse played the game in the background.  We got to see the adept's heavy melee (biotic palm-strike), but there was still no power screen for the adept shown even in that footage.  Are you sure that footage is deleted, by the way?  Last time I checked it was still there.

The most we have for information about the Adept's powers is a shot of the power wheel (from said footage I believe):



From left to right, the powers are:

• Shockwave
• Pull
• Throw
• Singularity
• Warp
• Overpower
• Unity
• (Empty space left of shockwave is presumably for the bonus power)

It's NOT multiplayer. We had that big scare a few months back, and the guys at Bioware basically said 'wait for the article to come out'. The article ended up saying something stupid like 'Bioware might add multiplayer in their future games, but not ME3'. Then the devs basically said 'YOU SEE? END OF DISCUSSION'.

I don't know what this announcement is, but it's probably something to do with new characters, customization, or the story.

NeoGAF is pretty terrible in general.

They called us (BSN) insane at one point in that topic and while I wouldn't deny it... their forums are still about twenty-five times more filled with whiners than ours ever will be.

There's a whole lot of "it's going to be multiplayer just like they've all but confirmed at this point anyway" in that thread. Clearly they haven't been paying attention.

There's also more concentrated "ME2 was a pile of junk" than I've ever seen even on BSN but take it from someone who's a regular on a more balanced site like GameFAQs -- ME2's reception was great overall.

Bioware needs to just come out and pledge, in the form of a written document, to give all of their ME3 profits for charity if the multiplayer rumor turns out to be true. Then, and only then, will we be able to lay it to rest once and for all. Obviously it can't be laid to rest otherwise.

However even though I have laid it to rest 99% of the way, in the back of my cynical mind, a little voice still whispers, "But the profits..."...........And this voice sounds like EA executives.

Haha exactly.

Seriously though, this scenario genuinely frightens me because then I'd have to de-fan Bioware on principle, and I don't want to do that.  Even after DA2 and how its rushed money-grab disrespected the intricate universe Bioware had crafted, I still have hope that EA has not become Bioware's supreme corporate overlord and that they still have at least some level of autonomy.  ME3 being up to par is tied into whether or not I judge this to be the case; it is the decisive moment for what Bioware's identity will be moving forward.

Well, if you look carefully at what they've been saying, they've never once said there definitely wouldn't be multiplayer.  Instead, they've dodged it with stuff like "We're focusing on having the best single-player experience possible."

Well i just hope they will just wait on multiplayer for the next Mass Effect game, than they could employ it alot better.  But Bioware games are best for their great stories so I hope Bioware remembers that when they start adding multiplayer to their games.

When it comes to PC-etlists, RPG/any other genre-purists sure. But they have crap load of industry people posting there and the forum is simply HUGE so everything gets posted there within seconds + all the juiciest leaks and reliable rumors which is why it's my prime source for gaming news.
