I canceled my pre-order on ME3 months ago after seeing the direction BioWare seemed to be taking the franchise. Good to see I dodged that planet-sized bullet.

Can you guys just stop complaining about ME2 and ME3! Getting rid of a ****ty inventory, making the shooting mechanics work and improving the variation and tactical use of powers makes a game suck? I don't see any logic behind that. The only decreases in RPG elements people scream like babies about are the removal of the ****ty inventory and one or two less tech trees.

As far as the helmets go, I like that you're adding the option to turn them off during conversations, but is there any way to add in a collapsible helmet option, ala Lost in Space? I like the idea someone had posted a year ago that even included sketches of how such a thing could be implemented in-game.

Sorry, but I think there will be no collapsible helmets. It's just easier, and cost-effective, to make helmets togglable between on and off.

I think it's a shop. Something about the text resolution looks a bit off.

While it may have been made in Photoshop, it's not a fake.  It's a real ad.  But that's the thing: it's not an official ad placed by Bioware.  It's an ad done by some game retailer, and it may or may not be accurate.  We'll have to wait and see whether it is.

Some people think that adding multiplayer will cut the singleplayers recources, while also adding that even if the multiplayer gets recources of it's own, those should've been spent on singleplayer

At first, I hated it. But now, I wouldn't mind it. My buddy got me into mass effect, and would love to play beside him in this game. Either way, I honestly don't care. I know ME3 will be a great game.

Well... yeah. I hate the idea of MP in ME3, but I'm still going to buy the game. It's the last entry of the trilogy and I want to finish it. (It is about more than "choice" and "if you don't like it, don't play it", but that's all been said and people will either agree or not.) Past that, to the extent some people are talking about canceling, well... whatever. They will or they won't. Maybe they'll cancel their CE and just get the standard.

Adding a feature isn't the issue for me.  Sure, I don't really care about multiplayer, but if it was in there it would be a nice little bonus I guess.  What I don't like is Bioware denying multiplayer exists if it then turns out to be true.  I value honesty.  I would still buy the game, I would just be annoyed and I would never again trust any promises Bioware makes during development of their games (aka no more preorders).

Reading interviews with Bioware people a while back, they did confirm that multiplayer would not be in it.  Maybe it has changed since then (and if so fine, but then be honest about it), but it was denied outright.  Gameinformer had an interview in which Bioware stated that multiplayer would not be in ME3, but that they would consider implementing multiplayer in future Mass Effect games.

Chris(or someone else in the team) said alot of the the things stated on those magazines were wrong, like something about Tali(can't remember what it was and from which magazine it was on.) and later said that if bioware didn't say it directly it might not be 100% accurate.

Everyone plz forgive my ignorance, but I still don't get it how will the single player game lose resources If multiplayer is introduced, other high caliber games have had it and didn't seem to suffer , Halo, Gears of War , uncharted 3 and a multiple of war game franchise shooters and other RPG's. . . I'm very optimistic that BW will handle it in a manner that will respect the single player experience , this coming from a guy that doesn't play multiplayer really

If the MP is even true, it's being designed by another studio so the argument of "but it takes resources away!" hasn't really held any weight for awhile now.

Actually having a multiplayer does take valuable resources away from the single player... Instead of me spending all my time playing the Singleplayer, I have to take time to learn and play MP as well.. thus making it longer for me to get all of the achievements... now normally that would be a good thing, except the game comes out on tuesday and tennis season starts up that tthursday.... I can't fit that much time in two days!
