I can't prove it, but I just applauded, well played sir.
Thanks for the answer by the way.

Edit: Oh and I wasn't actually assuming, that you'll die by not having the medical upgrade, but I thought based on the title, that it would have an influence.
If you think I'm dumb because of that.... sorry?
Well you all have your fun in this thread, I'm not a regular and I have the feeling I won't become one, so good for you I guess ; )

Still a nice job you did Phaedon, but like I said before I don't want to get spoiled.

So wait; Bioware is stating that in order to achieve total 100% Perfect Paragon etc you need to play something on Facebook? Only tools are jumping on that bandwagon and I for one refuse to do so!

Bioware; don't drop the ball on ME3 or a lot of people won't give two sh*ts about your games anymore.

There are many ways to achieve maximum galactic readiness and obtain the most optimistic ending.  If you so choose, you can achieve maximum galactic readiness by playing Mass Effect 3 singleplayer and avoiding all other options.  That's your choice.  The developers have repeatedly stated this.

Players that don't want to deal with multiplayer or other peripheral games won't be forced to.  To repeat, you can still achieve the most optimistic ending through singleplayer alone.

Now,  now.  If you're going to repeat what they said,  repeat everything they said.

"If you do almost everything, and you do really well, you'll have more than enough resources to [bypass multiplayer]"

There's alot of quantifiers and ambiguity in there,  and no evidence that it will be easy to do.  In fact,  they keep dodging that question just like they did when they were hiding multiplayer.  Notice how they haven't explained what "Do really well" means?  Or how they've avoided mentioning if "Do almost everything" involves chasing down quests/items in randomized locations that are different for everyone?

So if you're going to repeat what they said,  then make sure you note the part where they keep dodging the question of how difficult it will be to achieve the optimal ending in single player.

Because what we could easily be talking about is something on the order of randomizing all of those collectibles that ME1 had,  and trying to find them all with the Mako.

Could you do that?  Sure.  Could you do it in a reasonable amount of time without becoming mindnumbingly bored?  Debatable.

Should it be difficult to achieve the optimal ending? Yes. Is it going to be about completing repetitive missions?According to them, it's not. And there was no dodging the question.

Hello

Can anyone explain why should I remove scars from Shep in ME2? And what is the consequences ifI haven't done it for Shep?

Sorry, but even if it's quite obvious every EA game will require Origin...

As I know, only demo will require Origin. I don't know anything about full version.
BTW: I laugh at the people complaing on Origin, while these people have facebook account or something (they gathering your data too!). And - Windows also gathers your data. :P

+1 for Console ease of use, and EA's lost a PC customer for life with that Origin service.

Wouldn´t it be laughable only to need Origin for the demo...? It´s needed for the full game as well!

And then: only because there is a company which stores my data (which I can more or less control and have voluntarily typed in...), it doesn´t mean the number of such corporations needs to grow, don´t you agree? And while  FBs actions are pretty shady as well, Origin´s actions are untransparent as hell, because they don´t even tell you what data they "need" o.0

Well, it could be that the demo will only be available for download via Origin.  That'd be one way to make it necessary for the demo without it being necessary for the game.  Of course, we already know that the Digital Deluxe edition is only available via Origin, so it's at least required for that too.

Hey, there is a new Bioware Pulse episode for Halloween, showing off some new enemies and other stuff. My interest lies with the end of the video though. It appeared that Shepard was getting grabbed by an enemy.
I don't know whether I'm just a little behind on new info or something, but it looks new to me.

Well the episode is new - it is Halloween, after all. And those Banshees look nasty!

Seriously. Those banshees are actually incredibly scary - I don't mean like gross scary - I mean like.. I would be scared to fight them because they seem strong.

That's kind of exciting! They already seem much better than the scions. I hate scions so much...there's not satisfaction with killing a scion, they're just repetitive, obnoxious monsters. Can't wait to fight some new enemies.

Hmm, I don't know, the Banshees were simply interesting for me. Not scary.

Maybe if they end up being incredibly powerful, I'll change my mind.

I was reading some of the articles about the co-op demo and they seem to be enemies that you have to work together to kill. That alone sounds scary, but to fight them in Singleplayer with simple AI - that sounds awesome.

Weren't there going to be more husks? Like a turian mix or krogan mix? I would love to see those guys. I would think a krogan husk would demolish everything

The Banshees? Because that's a feature common to all enemies. All the AI Design process has been aimed to have enemies work as an element, not units, a la ME2.

We have been shown an untextured turian husk and there is also a krogan husk called "Brute". There is also the Rachni husk.

I think the Krogan husks are called Brutes, I do like these husk versions of other species though adds to more enemy variety.

I can't believe Cerberus are wasting their time trying to kill Shepherd, while the real enemy is out there already, turning various races to husks to adjutants.

Note also that the Banshee can shield others. There appears to be some serious tactical thought going on here.
