Fortunately once you talk with Vega, you can start to skip.
So it's not much longer then ME1 Intro. Yay!

"Blindfire(?)" Doesn't look like it but it's not something you can do in ME2

Followed by what we have already in ME2:

You can play ME3 on Insanity from start.
So does this "Movie Mode" thing have to do with what they're talking about for the Single-player campaign right now with the RPG, Story, and Action options? Or was that just for the demo/beta?
Also, glad to see we can try Insanity first. I doubt I'll be trying it right away, since I don't really have any desire to die 50 times in an unfamiliar beginning area, but it is nice to have the option

Well reportedly they're making the load times less painful, so it may not be so bad this time. I just hope the level scaling is toned down, with more emphasis on the game actually trying to fight you instead. Scaling just makes levelling feel bitter-sweet at best.

It's at about 12:45. Sorry, I don't know how to link it straight to the specific time.
Right click the flash video window, "Copy video URL at current time".
Vanguard melee is awkward.

I agree, though being able to charge and then use that seems like it'd be useful. And I may just have to change my opinion about MP. We'll see. Anyway, thanks for the video, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would
Edit: Sorry, I seem to have missed your response, The_Crazy_Hand. I prefer having the scaling, but I agree it could use some improvement. In any case, I'll be happy for the shortened loading times. It's not so bad on the PC but it's aweful on the PS3. I think that's what bugged me more than all the deaths combined.

Person that upload that went to Action Mode, so Movie Mode is for that one.

I think we just found our method of punishment for carrying multiple high-end weapons (like the Revenant and Claymore). I'd put bets that the weight capacity thing will be this price we pay for carrying a load of big guns around.Someone With Mass wrote...

Just what I was thinking.
Apart from that, I wonder what the "reputation bonus" is - for renegade/paragon, or something else...?

See this picture is confusing me, I mean is this an option to normal putting points to skills like in MAss Effect2 or is this just a special feature to specify your skills and where they go.

im thinking AMMO capacity plays into that as well. the more weight u can carry, the more ammo.

Along with the statement from those who have played the MP that Krogan's cannot roll whilst having strong armor.. it seems like lack of mobility as a trade off is a given

Exactly, every time you die it'd be a 1-2 minute wait to retry. The problem with scaling is that it defeats the purpose of levelling up in the first place. Even though the scaling wasn't near as bad as other games, I still say it should be replaced by more legit ways of making the game difficult.

Vanguard melee is awkward.
Yeah, but it's still pretty cool. Also looks like Vanguard has lift and throw again, at least in MP.

Nope, the vanguard has pull and shockwave.

It's the same thing as it was for ME2 - increasing it through the "Influence & *****" upgrades to your class's passive power (Soldier = Combat Mastery, etc) multiplies your existing Paragon and Renagade points.Jade Elf wrote...

CAPITAL SHIPS are Sovereign-class Reapers two kilometers in length. They typically target the dreadnoughts, defense installations, and industrial cities of organic civilizations. Experts believe the Reapers harvest a single species of organics during each cycle of extinction to create these massive ships.
DESTROYERS are the 160-meter-long workhorses of the Reaper fleet. They engage cruisers and other, smaller ships, as well as communications posts and enemy command centers. Research suggests destroyers are created from those species that are not harvested to make capital ships.
TROOP TRANSPORTS carry husks to unconquered planets and bring victims of the harvest to Reaper processing centers. They vary in length from 200 meters to one kilometer, but, unlike capital ships and destroyers, do not appear to be self-aware. Instead, other Reapers operate troop transports remotely.
PROCESSORS, also called "slaughter ships," are mobile centers for mass DNA harvesting. Like troop transports, processors appear to be remotely operated by sapient Reapers.
