I don't know if I'm alone thinking this but, after playing I noticed that the class jobs are a bit too straight, the warrior stikes and tanks, the rogue backstabs and uses thief talents, the mage heals and nukes... Imo I think it a bit annoying when you are forced to bring a rogue to open chests or a mage if you want some heal etc... making the team build pretty much the same over the playthroughs especially in nightmare mode.

So I'm thinking on starting a cross classing mod, something like this :

Adding 3 spec, one for each base class, and with the same pattern : 2 stat bonuses and one row of 4 skills.

For exemple :

rogue : +1 dex, pick locks
talents : Pick lock 1 -> stealth 1 -> pick lock 2 -> lethality

Warrior : +1 str, + 1 con
talents : powerful -> shield defense -> shield balance -> bravery

mage : +1 magic, +1 willpower
talents : arcane bolt -> heal -> dispel magic -> misdirection hex

I assuming creating a mod like that will take some time so maybe I could use some advices and answers that will save me a lot of time.

First I need to know if it was possible for warriors and rogues to use mana based talents using the stamina bar and same thing for the mage with stamina talents. If not I will either have to make clones of the talents with the proper requierement or adding a mana / stamina pool on the chars (including modding the GUI to display it...).

Second, the leveling form is a little short for adding 2 new icons for the cross classes, did anyone tryed to add specializations and happened to see if the window scaled ? Or do we have to mod the GUI to add them manually ?

Thanks for your attention ^_^.
