Has anyone else noticed that Vindicator Elites can keep your shields down and break them whever they try to recharge while you're in cover?
Or does this only happen at higher difficulties.

I've sometimes found myself unable to regen for ages while they're shooting at me.

No flanking. They're on the direct far opposite side of cover, and still able to interrupt regens. I can recall seeing my shield shatter the moment it started recovering and I didn't even do anything.

I assume you are behind the half height cover and not full height? With careful aim, you can still target anyone crouching behind half height cover, as the top portion o ftheir helmet is still visible. Given the accuracy of the Vindicator, and the difficulty level, that would probably be the cause. My advice would be to move about a little behind the cover, as a small moving target would be harder to hit.

That's pretty much what I thought. Makes sense that NG+ Insanity would mean perfect accuracy Elites capable of catching such a tiny target.

I agree with Bogsnot's post. The enemy can occasionally hit you if you are behind waist high cover. Even some full height cover is vulnerable if the enemy is at a certain angle to it.
