 Now i am playing the game with Medium Game Detail and High Texture Detail. I am using Windows 7. I am happy with my gameplay but! when i am in an area where there are lots of shadows, the FPS is something like 10-15. It is very unconfortable.
I couldnt find any options to disable the shadows.
I found a ini file. I changed the Shadow=1 value to =0 but nothing changed. I want to disable shadows without changing the game or texture detail.
Do you have any suggestions?

Well, if you bother to do a quick search you would find that shadows cant be disabled. maybe this will be a in a future patch, but i doubt it. i always play my games with shadows off.



Thsi is the first game i've seen in a while that doesnt let you disable shadows

The most major performance hitting setting that you *can* turn off is Frame Buffer Effects.

I still play with it on, but turning it off brings my fps from around 50 to 65.

i turned it off because i play on a laptop and my screen doesnt go up from 60hz. it is very blurry if i open frame buffer

Setting graphics details to "low" seems to turn off shadows for me. Since everything casts a shadow in the game though, everything brightens up... a lot.

on some config file located where you profile is saved, have one option that would disable it, but for me it dont work, maybe someone can do it using the game console.

I hope they release a patch to set shadows to off

I play the game at low settings on 1280 x 800

I have a Geforce 9400 GT

if I could set the shadows to off I could play the game at med settings, it looks awesome

And if to put low customisations that for pupils there is no colour!
