Hello! I am having a problem with my startup, and I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a possible solution. When I click "play" on the DA2 startup screen, absolutely nothing happens: no error, no problem notifications, nothing. My configuration screen on my game says my system is good to run the game, but this problem still won't go away. I have tried to file a report with Bioware, and might call them later, but I haven't recieved a response. I have looked through the forums and the internet but have found nothing useful.

System Specs:
Processor- AMD C-50 Processor
Clock speed- 993 MHz
Physical Memory: 1.72 GB
Display Adapter- AMD Radeon HD 6200 series
Driver version: Catalyst
VRAM- 256 MB
Sound Adapter: Speakers (Contextant HD Audio)
Driver version-8.41.0.0
Operating system-Windows 7.
Patch 1.03 is also installed. Graphics (and audio?) drivers have been updated.

(NOTE:These are all the specifics I know of ,according to the DA2 config. screen. I'm ameteaur at this, so please bear with me)

I have also heard that anti-virus programs interfere with the game, but have NO idea how to turn mine off. If anyone has (or knows how to work) VIPRE anti-virus, any link or answer on how to turn the stupid thing off would be greatly appreciated.

My game's log has also no reports of anything going wrong

If you have anything similar in the way of hardware, you need a better computer system. Other than the HD 6200 Chipset video chip, the Bobcat CPU (referred to by the OP) is equivalent to the Thunderbird Athlon K7 processor that predated the Athlon XP CPUs.

P. S.  As long as Dx11 Very High settings aren't attempted, in some ways the DA2 game is easier on low quality hardware than the DAO game was.
