*facepalm*

Pay attention to the codex, or at least the wiki.

They do not speak english. You have a standard issue auto-translator provided by the alliance.
Proof:
-Bring down the sky DLC. the first time you heard Batarian speaking, you don't understand what they say at first, it's because your translator didn't had Batarian language activated.

Well, if they all have translators, why do all of their mouths moves as if they were speaking English to begin with?

Because it's not fun to watch badly dubbed foreign movies.

the same reason as this www.youtube.com/watch

You can put virtually any language using mouth mouvement and it kinda work.

Because above all else Mass Effect is a video game. Game Mechanics will ALWAYS override realism. I am sure the Dev team tried REALLLY hard to make sure it all fits in with lore and realism and whatnot but at the end of the day Mass Effect is a video game set in a ficticous world with ficticous characters. The game needs to be as enjoyable as possible and the Dev team is not going to sacrafice gameplay so everything fits in perfectly with the lore.

I think that anyone that complains about this should be locked in a small room with each other and be forced to come up with a viable, speak-able language for each race.

OK how about a real story flaw: Started up a new game of Mass effect 1 and I noticed that sovereign took off and left eden prime, but Saren was still there, So how did he get on sovereign....

Geth shuttle.

And for the record, I wasn't making some remark about realism back there. I was merely pointing out that the Codex doesn't provide a completely viable explanation for everything.

Benezia teleported him with her mage powers of epicness. Either that or he stepped on his floating disc and flew up.

This instantly popped into my head:

Old Hungarian dub of this western (I never found out the name). Awful as hell.

If you think this is a problem, don't ever watch pretty much ANY sci-fi film with multiple races living together.  Farscape alone would drive you insane.
