My Orc is just a balls out melee character. He just goes in and ploughs right through anything that stands in his way. My next character will probably be a stealth based one. I'm leaning between Wood Elf, Argonian and Khajiit but I haven't decided yet. I'm also considering a Breton Battlemage build, but we'll see.
Anyway, I recently got Azura's Star, I love that artifact. A soul gem that doesn't go away so you can constantly refill your enchanted items? Just awesome.
Couldn't agree with you more about Azura's star great little artifact which I myself love. Now not sure if this is your first time playing the game or what level you are but there is a great sword you can get once you are level 20. Or unless your like me and don't mind have to reload about 50 times or so to fight one female you can get it before than. I'm 13th level and have already obtained the sword as well as for the star and they make a great combination for collection souls.

redneck - the Pilgrim's Path is the start of the Knights of the Nine Quest. If you do it before doing the DB, you'll just have to do it again for reasons you'll learn later. So save yourself the headache.

Oh ok so I'll do the DB than the TG and than the Knights of the nine. That should work out good shouldn't it?
How could you have forgotten about Azura's star? I suppose you've yet to get Umbra either? Or aren't you high enough level?

So you've already done all the misc and fact quest? Did you at least remember to get ahold of Umbra?

didn't do the Daedric quests this time . . . . didn't feel like searching those dmn things out. Besides, I have Dawnfang . . . I prefer that to Unmbra
Well now since you mentione one for which I didn't know about I went and looked it up on UESP from what I've read it sounds like one great sword. What do you use for soul traping then spells?

Spells, or I pay. I'm running around with 400,000 gold or so, so paying doesn't bother me.

That works there. As for me I've got close to 80k in gold and own 2 houses and have the Lodge plus the fighters guilds for which I can sleep in so plenty of places to sleep for free.I've got two swords and one being Umbra. I'm also wearing Umbras' Ebony armor and have an Ebony bow.<G> Of course I think that the Daedra armor looks cool as well and wouldn't mind having a set of that there. Only think is when I kill them so far I can't get their armor. Guess its 20th level or highter.

Daedric armor shows at a certain level. I think it's 20, so you should be close. Personally, I prefer to wear specific enchated stuff . . .especially my gauntlets of strength and my greaves with the feather enchantment.

Oh, I rarely sleep. Only when I level up. Got 3 houses, mages guilds, fighters guilds, white horse lodge, knights priory (whatever that place from the knights of the nine quest is called). I use them for storage. I have about 4 sets of armor, multiple swords, bows, alchemy stuff, etc stashed away.

The only time for which I sleep is when I level up as well. But I'm not at a lack of places to crash thats for sure.<LOL> Mainly thats what I do is use them for storage as I've got lots of stuff as well.
Well now I've yet to get ahold of greaves with the feather enchantment on them but I do have a set of swamp boots that have feather 65pts and a ring that I think has feather 25 pts. Also a couple of rings with chameleon which I will probably use in the DB quests.

i made either the gauntlets or the greaves, forget which . . . I'm wearing some madness armor right now, feather amulet as well . . . . i can carry 720 . . . . .which is very nice, when i start missions carrying about 165 or so . . . .except the damn good stuff is always so damn heavy . . .
Isn't that the way it seems to work is that the good stuff weigh so much. Now do you prefer light or heavy armor?
How did you make the gauntlets/greaves? Did you use the construction set program that I heard/read about or did you make them in game?

As for Shivering Isles I didn't know that your Pc became a god by doing that one there. Not sure if I like that idea myself to be honest with you.
Oh, well I didn't mean to spoil that for you. Don't worry, I can't spoil too much because I've never even played it myself. I've just read about it. So the actual plot should be a surprise to you, for the most part. My apologies though.

Oh ok I've not gotten that far in the Mages quest yet. Heck haven't even done the reccomendation quest this time through.<LOL> Can you enchant any type of armor or just certain types? I prefer the heavy myself and besides my sneak is high enough that the weight of my boots don't matter.
BTW you didn't tell me that you become a God in Shivering Isles.

I should say, anything except already enchanted items . . . .don't think you can add an enchantment to something that already has one.
So, basically, keep a really good base piece of armor or weapon, and enchant that.
*edit - and no, I didn't tell you that. I didn't tell you anything about it. You said you hadn't done it yet, so I didn't say anything one way or the other. It is a fun trip, though.

Cool so I'd be able to enchant either my Umbra or Daedra armor with enchantments? Now can you do multiple enchantments on an item or just one per item?

Well that is true there I didn't ask anything about it as I didn't want to have it spoiled for me. Whats a good level to take it on?

Well currently I'm level 13 right now. As for the unique items you get the chance and you remember check for me and let me know as I would love to be able to enchant either ebony or daedric armor. Also see if you can give them multiple enchantments or only one per item. Thanks.

Anyway, Redneck1st, I appreciate the info about Umbra. I know about the sword, but I'm currently level 11 about to be 12 atm and my Orc focuses on Blunt, not Blade. But I'll definitely keep that in mind for future characters.
