Redneck - You can place multiple enchantments on weapons, such as fire damage and also frost damage, or weakness to poison and poison damage, etc. If you do use multiple enchantments on a weapon, be careful - you're going to blow through the charge on that thing fast, especially if you use higher powered spells (20 fire damage uses more of a charge then 5 fire damage, for example).
You CAN'T place multiple enchantments on armor, amulets, rings, etc. Each is one and done - +STR or +INT or a light spell or a feather spell, resistence to poison spell, etc.
Also - you can't enchant unique items. So anything already enchanted, that's what it is - you can't change or add to it.
Level 13 should be fine to do Shivering Isles or Knights of Nine. Most of Oblivion scales to your level, or is supposed to, anyway. Boss fights may be a little more challenging, but I wouldn't expect them to be abnormally so. I did Shivering Isles rather early in my previous game, and was able to complete it.
And if you wait until you finish DB and TG to do KoN, you'll likely be at least level 15 or above by the time you do KoN, and then level 17 or so when you finish that. You'll be fine.
Thanks for taking the time to find out and pass along the information I really appreciate it allot. As for the enchanting I kind of figure that was the way it was going to be. So when I enchant something better make sure it's what I want.<LOL>
Ok well currently I've pretty much did a number on the DB quests. Got to go kill some retired military sob now and than I'll see what is left to do after that for DB and than I'll be moving on to the thieves.
Anyone know if the other DLC's for which are available are wroth getting? I was thinking of getting them but wondered what others thought about them.
Ken what trophy's are you talking about?
