See OP the question to ask isn't Do you play Oblivion. But does it PLAY YOU!? For all we know this whole world, this whole reality might just be a game. In fact well might just be pixels on some super nerds screen that has fun with us all the while trying to get us to lower our guard so they can remove all the doors and set the house on fire.

That's nonsense, the only reason Uncle Bill drowned is because he couldn't find the ladder, it isn't like someone removed it-wait where's the door, ohmygodfire! THE WINDOW WON'T OPEN!!

I may play it again at some point since I'll be getting a decent pc one of these days, but it is nice to pop on some of the soundtrack via youtube:

I hadn't gamed since the 16-bit era and Oblivion was one of the first games I played this gen so my nostalga for the game is pretty high. I see the flaws in it now, but I didn't know better at the time and I kinda wish I could go back to that feel.

I still play Oblivion, heavily modded of course. It's still a beautiful game and it's a nice break from all the ice and snow of Skyrim.

If I had the time I would have to pick up the PC version of Oblivion then. What is this navmesh bug you refer to?

It's an AI bug, basically it really messes with any of the AI in a room, ****ing up any attempt at complex mods. I learnt this via Giskard, if you head over to The Engineering Guild, he'll give you a good 30min rant about it xD

Is it when NPCS can't walk across a room or are blocked by invisible walls?

And I didn't realise Oblivion had such a massive modding community. I really need to get around to playing my PC version.

It does. Sadly, now it's filled with what I hate: sex mods. Not that they're bad, but when you open up TESNEXUS only to find a thousand hentai-like models, reskins and clothes, it really casts a ****-load of rubbish over what used to be a great place filled with tons of mods.

If I were you, I'd head to The Engineering Guild. I'm no longer a member there (used to be a moderator) but I moved on since then. There you'll get the basic jist of the ES modding community. There's the good, the bad and the ugly.
