More like Chewbacca is really the Illusive Man.

On a serious note, I think the engine struggles with rendering them well. A lot of engines cannot handle fur too well. It looks so static, like Mass Effect hair that's already in the game. When you try to add realistic fur, it kills the GPU trying to process each of those hairs reacting in a realistic manner. Not to mention it would be a freaking nightmare to implement, let alone implement without problems.
