Why would it concern you?
Melee in ME1 and 2 was fairly boring. You had exactly one animation which changed minutely from weapon to weapon.
Now, Shepard is basically Bruce Lee + Goku + Space = win.
All it means is that if you're in range, you can do cooler stuff than elbow a guy fifty times.

Ooh, I hope enemy snipers make a return in ME3. Lets all ask the devs on Twitter
That would be awesome, I loved hunting the opposition snipers on ME1...peek over the top of a hill, first the turrets come down, then scope for any snipers..I miss the snipers in ME2....I don't have a twitter account, would you ask them please Javier?

I fail MISERABLY as soon as there's a chaotic situation, in life and game, just a prob I have...as a Sniper, I can keep things clean and flowing, relying heavily on tactics to do so yes...but a huge part of the fun for me is working out tactics and the whole awesome feel of clean head shots, I have run a couple of ME2 games in which my Shep can only use head shots and never miss, if he fails, I reload....And yes, have managed an Insanity play with this, that was awesome....always blast the husks just above one leg though, I find it is the most effective place to hit them.
Having background in a Martial Art which involves the roll attack I have to admit, I am looking forward to my Infiltrator Shep being able to do these rolls....by the way, does anyone know if Shep comes up in an attack stance?...and seeing what I can do with it and how it plays out.

Wow. I really did not notice that snipers had been taken out. ..Now i kind of miss them. Hopefully if they are back they wont have that dreadful red laser beam pointing you to where they are.
Yes, I would prefer if they didn't have the red line, would make more fun for scoping and hunting them.

I agree. I always thought it ruined the feel for the snipers; instead of being hidden away in a snipers nest some where and posing an actual threat, they basically were like, "If i dont have this really really bright laser sight, I will never be able to see where my bullet will go."
I have heard rumors there might be silencers in ME3...don't quote me though, I could well be wrong...if so though for both Shep and opposition, that could make for a great deal of fun....

On Insanity in ME1, if you didn't have that Assassination laser sight tp see snipers, you'd have been utterly massacred on most levels.blitzkkrieg wrote...

Ew.
If they're properly balanced and not as bugged as they were in ME1, then I could see getting behind the sniper idea. But I prefer ME2's system of long-ranged threats. The missiles can be dodged and don't instantly kill you, but if the enemies get a stagger lock going, you're in trouble.
One-hit-kills are a little too 90's for my taste.

Well since us snipers are terrible at close-range combat, it's good to know that I will have a one-shot melee up my sleeve if an enemy gets too close. I wonder what the melee special is for the Infiltrator class...
I'm not the only one....thank god for that...

Considering what they've done for the other classes - keeping all of the powers and increasing their depth, while adding one or two extras - I strongly doubt they'll be taking away Tactical Cloak. It's kind of iconic.Golden Owl wrote...

A Widow shot between the eyes makes sense for a one-hit-kill ....considering the fact that the info on it says it would tear a mans arm off if he tried to use it...Shep gets away with it I guess because of his Cerberus cyber bits.

It's what they did for the Soldier, for Liara, and for Garrus. Check the skill tree screenshots from E3.Golden Owl wrote...

Admittedly, class skill trees aren't final, but I have a hard time believing that they'll revamp things that much.
