In that case, try asking Samara for just sex during that scene and see what happens. The issue with that scene... or the dangling thread as it might be, is that she does not give a reason why and then still gets ll close to kissing Shepard.

She didn't just admit attraction to shepard. She agreed when they said that they had a connection, and that she believed she could find more than just happiness with shepard.

And then after, 'another time, another life," she touches shepard's cheek (saaaad fangirl).

After thinking about it for awhile, I think the reason Samara rejected Shepard was not because she was not interested, but because she didin't want anything to distract her from her code.

I don't mind that though, I would prefer her as a friend than a lover.

Not much else to say until more info comes out. Can't wait to see Samara in ME3. I wonder if we'll see her sooner in the game or later.

Bioware has yet to confirm anything, and I don't think anyone who posts on this thread has read the spoilers so we'll have to wait.

I still think that she is going to try to kill Shepard for what he/she did in Arrival if she sees them again.

I believe they hinted at conflicts with squadmates in a few interviews. 

I highly believe that our meeting with Samara will be way more than just a conflict, I just hope that she doesn't end up dying.

It already has, Shepard's killing of 300 thousand batarians during the events of Arrival, would instantly compel Samara to kill shepard, even though he/she probably saved billions of lives for what he/she did.

I don't think so. That was a no-win situation. Doom the galaxy over the lives of 304,000 that will still die, just sooner than everyone else?

And besides. She already had a few precedent for this. Nihlus used her her code against her to make a situation where she had to choose between the life of an innocent and his capture. On Illium, she joined up with Shepard to avoid murdering the whole police department. The Code has been used against her in the past, and she has proved herself willing to subvert it if she wants to avoid the outcome.

No big Samara/Shepard battle over Arrival. Even if you were renegade Shep (even with just one point too many) Samara said she would get as far away from Shepard to avoid killing them, I'm guessing due to their involvement in the whole Reaper war. It's like the situation with Nihlus, kill the perpatrator (for whatever reason) or by sparing them, allow Shepard to save (a galaxy's worth) of innocents.

Perhaps, but let's not forget that Samara's reason for becoming a justicar is over, her daughter is dead, so hopefully by the time that we encounter her again in Mass Effect 3 she will have abandoned her role as a justicar, and we won't have to fight or avoid her at all.

Perhaps she will go back to be with her daughters on Thessia.

I certainly hope so, I think that all squad members from Mass Effec 2 should appear in some capacity, it will be very disappointing if any one of them is exempt from it, this is the finale after all, and we might not get another game set in the Mass Effect universe, so I really hope that they do appear.

As for the romance, I think it will be good for people who wanted to romance Samara, I personally liked her more as a friend, but poeple who want to romance her should be able to.
