Damn. You made me sad. I knew this would be a sad creative exercise, but that made me sadder than I was anticipating.

EDIT: Also, I want Samara as a ME3 squadmate.  I'm so tired of these boring squadmates.  :(

My answer is that she would put her forehead jewelry and her neckband in to the coffin.

I would've suggested that. And romanced, for my Shepard it would've been the golden variation specifically because Ash was fond of those ones.

Edit: Gears... :crying:

Was it sad in a sort of moving way? An emotional farewell that moved you? IF so then I pulled it off, I wanted something that brings tears to peoples eyes and is verry heartfelt, I'm such a sucker for doing emotionally charged things.

I can't help doing that as well sometimes. Though I can bite you in the ass...

For example, my friend will never let me live down the way I ended my Morinth fanfic, Pariah. She will always and forever be suspicious of what I will do to my characters because of how I ended it.

Even though that was just the one story. :P

Edit: Slithering around on tumblr and found this -

Ash, I'm going to have to check your Fanfic Pariah out now.

Is the above pic you found Samara and her 3 kids when they were younger? To me the far kid looks a little too much like a boy Asari, the huge nose, the chin, and face.

Before jumping online and heading over here I got a phone call from my brother at dang near 12 AM, and he was at a bar getting drunk, umm let's just say there is a good reason I've never had a single drink of alcohol in my 23 years of existence, it scares the crap out of me when my older bro gets drunk and turns all mean and gets hulk strength. Easier to avoid that problem myself if I don't drink any ever.

Anyway I got to thinking I wonder what Samara get's like when she's drinking? Not in her earlier years. No I'm wondering what she would be like if as a Justicar sometime during ME2 or ME3 she goes out clubbing with Shepard, what do you think she'd be like?

Would she get wild and start dancing on the top of the bar? Would she laugh at everything? Would she get really sad? Angry and mean? Would she start to get a bit frisky and horny? Or do you think you'd hardly notice she was drinking she'd stay basically the same?

Any ideas?

Given how controlled she is I don't think she'd allow it to affect her as much as it could.

And regards the "boy" Asari. I have this same problem sometimes on whether or not I should make my Talinth all "conventionally" female. I decided against this, because not all human women look conventionally feminine. So some of them look a bit boyish or androgynous.

Ashira, that picture makes me sad. They look so happy together, and Samara looks so un-Samara. ;_;

Just a reminder everyone. If ya want to make your voice heard about how you think Samara's "romance" went in ME3 (I wish they'd done more than a SINGLE LINE at the tail end of that Citadel conversation) PM me or post here!

http://social.biowar...ndex/10853184/4

I only have 1 letter from a Samara fan right now (not counting mine) I know there's a few more of you guys out there!

Passionate, but polite! What did you like, what didn't you like? Were your expectations met regarding how you last saw her character in ME2? How well do you think she was portrayed in ME3? What do you wish was done?

Deadline for letters is Thursday 9 PM (EST). Gotta PM it to me or post on the above thread by then so I can be sure it gets printed out!!

I don't really know what you expect them to do, but I will write a short letter, because I'm a Samaratan.

Hey, at the very least, it's feedback.

Moreover, it's PHYSICAL feedback, a nice stack of papers.

I could hug them, I don't think I could tell them everything will be okay, because everything won't be, two of them are dead now. one had it coming the other didn't, Poor RIla.  I'm not good at lying to people, and I can't stand giving people false hope, I feel like a hypocrite, and I hate hypocrites.

Is it just me are does it look like Samara's boobs are implants?

Gears, I blame the game designers (programmers? Whoever's in charge of building the models) for her breasts. Plus I try not to look at them because I am weird and feel disrespectful somehow for looking directly at them. Like Samara will just reach out and smack my Shepard's ears.

But in other news because I am bored:

Okay. Well, now that people are talking about her bluebs, they did appear to be a little lower on her chest than I remember them being. But, maybe that's just because I hadn't seen Samara for a while.

Good luck with these letters on PAX. No offense, but do you really think this will be noticed? Come on, you have only 2 letters as I can see from the posts above. Even if you had 50 letters, this amount isn't nearly enough to change something, is it?

I thought I ought to write something, so that I can at least say I tried.  ME3 is a lot less character-focused than ME2, and Samara has very little material in ME3.  Even the old Samara thread had more participants, because it was ME2.

@Ashira,
I thought you might like that :P

It's a nice thought that because they're free to go wild with the stuff that happens since there isn't a game following it's plot afterwards (like they were supposed to do with the endings, but lets not go there) that they'll go "hey, you know what? Here's some extra dialogue and attention, on us. It's not like we've got the plot of a forth game to take into consideration, right?"

On another note. I am attempting to draw Shepard and Samara as a means of practice.

Samara will probably never come out right and I will give up when I get to actually doing her face. But for now I need to redrawn her body in the first place because she is unusually bigger than Shepard...so yeah.

If you want to look at such god awful sketchiness: like I said, using it for practice.

bluebs? Not sure I've heard that one before.

To me Samara's boobs looked like implants in both ME2 and 3. A fair amount of her boobs were just hanging out of her uniform and the open space in her uniform went further down and up from her boobs. When she ran, jumped, dived for cover, dodged stuff, and did all sorts of other stuff her boobs just stayed in the same spot all stiff like, they never once swayed a tiny bit.

Certain types of implant boobs seem to suffer from the same stiffness and non-moving thing Samara's boobs have.

I admit I've never um been with around a gal with boob implants, all the boobs I've a ya know... been around are/were real, so my knowledge of fake implants boobs is a ... um...... limited to a extra curricular vids and stuff of the sort.

@Bromanov I sent my letter for the same reason, after writer a letter I can say "well I did what I could" What happended to the old Samara thread fans/participants did they just loose faith?
So 2 years after ME2 when ME3 comes around the Samara thread has some missing fans, and it gains crazy me.

@Ash not sure what your using to do your art but it's way better than anything I could do,

Haha, bluebs is a term from the old thread, Gears. ;)

Concerning jiggle physics...did you also notice that all hair in the game is about as loose and flowing as a brick? The animators apparently just don't want to deal with anything that could possibly move in a swaying or flowing manner.

Also *snerk* "Extra curricular vids," where's the Turian councillor when you need his air quotes?

We're quite happy to gain you, Gears :D

Also I'm currently using GIMP, but I recently got photoshop. Still getting used to the former so the latter is a whole other creature.

HAHA Your whole post has me laughing
And Thanks it's good to know I'm not just the jackass who pisses off all the Miranda fans whenever I say I think she's a self-centered b!tch.

I did notice that ME is bad for it's lack of flowing and swaying things (I could come up with so many Miranda jokes to counter this), especially the hair my god, it's like that dude from Static-X with the Slim Jim hair. In ME2 Miranda had some movement to her hair, in ME3 it was just like all the other hair stiff and like you said a brick.

Glad you got a kick out of my wording of "Extra curricular vids" Looking at that post I should have added something like "As of now I don't have any hands experience with implants"
I'm terrible I'm just like Ken down in engineering.

Quick question in ME2 you could give you Shep Samaras Reeve power (which I did) how come it don't carry over in ME3? That power was the single greatest power ripped the scions apart.

Shepard can unlock Reave from talking to Kaidan. If Kaidan's dead, you're out of luck. Even though game mechanics don't reflect the lore (because look at Jack's cutscene power vs. her squadmate power), I don't think Reave really fits Kaidan. Samara, though, is dangerous and exotic, and that's what Reave sounds like to me.

I gave her Reave until I eventually switched to Shredder ammo and that didn't carry over either.

Kaiden has Reave though and if you talk to him enough you'll get the option to use it again. I have to talk to him more ._.

Kaiden having Reave just seems...wrong. How the hell does he know something that only Samara with all her experience and skill know?

Edit: Indeed, York.

Did anyone else shiver at the way she says "Your life is mine" when she used it in combat? ...No?

Okay.

I enjoyed it when Samara said it.  It made her sound even more dangerous, like she has such fine mastery of biotics that she can apply Warp fields on a micro level that they attack the target's nervous system.  Usually, they just shred apart the body.

Kaidan having Reave really makes no sense.  Yes, he's a trained biotic, but he's a biotic operative.  Warp, Barrier, maybe Pull and Throw.

But these are all gameplay mechanics, so they don't bother me.  Like I said, gameplay mechanics don't reflect the lore.  Again, just look at Jack.  Reave was probably given to Kaidan simply because it's a powerful ability and no one else had it.
