I have a similar version of that, Bromanov,
Only my version is that Samara gives my Shepard her Disciple and tells him that "Though the Disciple is mass produced for the Asari, the Justicar Order was not foolish enough to share the exact build and make of it. These standard versions are far less accurate, durable, powerful, and are reduced to a shell of what the true Disciple is."
Samara also tells my Shep that she rarely used it as she's never cared much for shotguns.
I love that sound the Disciple makes too, only thing I don't like is the ammo it holds so little.

~All content for the PAX LI Appreciation Book of Letters and Fanart has now been collected, and the book is now in the middle stage of assembly.~

~Thanks to everyone who contributed, and especially to my new friends Aryss & Nick Arlov, who have/still are putting in a great amount of effort and time into assembling this project! Without them, and my indomitable will, none of this would have been possible. The two of them will be presenting the fanbook to EvilChrist and Mike Gamble @ PAX- unfortunately, as it turned out, I'm unable to go due to family reasons.~

Here's a sneak peak of how the book is coming along:
(A longer, updated vid and some pictures will be uploaded shortly). Stay tuned for pictures and/or video taken when the book is being presented!

There's only three of us; me, Aryss & Nick Arlov, this project progressed faster than we anticipated and it has been several late nights of letter gathering, reading, spell and politeness-checking and doing battle with the book itself to make it worthy of presentation.

No thoughts on my thoughts on the nature of Samara's suicide attempt? I was asking if people thought if she might have more than just one reason for attempting to kill herself. The one we've gone over is Samara being unable to reconcile her love of her children with her obligations to her duties. I was wondering if Samara's suicide was actually a kind of "self-execution", because she was being an obstruction to herself in her execution of her duties.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the letters and support over the past six days of the PAX LI Appreciation Project.

I've updated the first post with pictures and videos of the fanbook, and I am continuing to update the thread with our comrades' progress on the ground at the convention center.

Rana, Samara's face model, is at PAX East. There's a video on Kotaku of a short interview with her. She's also attending the ME3 panel. She was asked to stand up when in-game character modeling and design were being discussed.

Rana! :3

I am the only one who's pleased that she didn't gloss over it when he asked if she liked or hated the ending?

I am glad she did not simply dismiss all the haters when she answered the question.

Indeed.

I don't mind if something makes me cry like a baby for half an hour. As long as it's for a good reason.

The good kind of emotional crying is okay.

This was the bad kind.

I read the leaked script and I was still shocked at how awful it is.

Smart choice.

Back to Samara!

I just honestly hope that Bioware won't forget Samara in the ending DLC. I just want to know what happend with her after the battle for Earth. What was her reaction to Shepard's (potential) death, what if Shepard survived?

Someone needs to drop that image of Samara and her puppy dog eyes from ME2...
"Why are my fans so quiet? Bioware, what have you done to them?"
Or ya know, something like that. [smilie]../../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]

I know it's a bit late for this but I spent so much time online looking for this pic for ya Ashira, when you said that I had this scene come to mind. Sadly I wasn't able to find it before the deadline, and I looked all over online only to find it was right under my noise the whole time, on the ME2 LI in ME3 Facebook Page.
Dang it.

Here ya go everyone, look at how sad she looks,

@Bromanov, I do have another reason for Samara's attempted scuicide, but I'm going to incorparate it into my Fanfic "Awakening" In fact I've been writing part of the chapter that goes into that along side every thing else I've been writing.

@Ashira I was quite glad to see Rana was not going to dance around it and was willing to say right out that fans ourrage is certainly justifable.

One more for ya

Does Samara actually cry there?  Hell if I'd wait long enough to check, never know when that Paragon interrupt symbol will stop flashing.

As Samara is trapped on Earth, I wonder what she'd say about not being able to visit Falere.  If the mass relays hasn't been destroyed, I'm sure that after the final fight, Samara would have hightailed it out of there to check on her daughter.

Looking at the images of the new Asari Justicar Adept sub-class in this multiplayer DLC, she wears the same forehead doodads that Samara does. I can't count on one hand the number of things those forehead doodads could signify. Sometimes, speculation isn't a good thing.

Thankfully no, she doesn't cry. The tears are photoshopped.

And does the adept really have the forehead things?

Huh...

Samara crying would be too much for me to bear, even just knowing she does in that scene.

It looks like it in the pictures.  It'll be awesome to use the Disciple while playing the Justicar Adept.  I wish there was an asari assault rifle, too.  I'd love to see the elegant design of such a weapon.

The Adept don't have them but it sounds like there is some MP DLC coming with some exclusive MP character classes and one of them is a Justicar. Honsetly WTF is Bioware thinking with MP DLC? You know how much outrage and anger will fallow in the wake of it being reseased not to mention if it comes out before any single player DLC.

ME fans didn't want a Multiplayer component to begin with, and now that the end of the game and some other things in it are festering wounds for the true ME fans, the fan backlash could be rather ......

Yeah I can't think of a way to say it, all I can say is BW  will just have to reap what they sow.

Those forehead things maybe are a symbol of Justicar status? Liara having them in her DLC CE outfit, well I'm not going to mix words here I'm just going to say it like I see it and that's Liara is clearly a BW favorite, and hey why wouldn't BW want to try and give Liara a Justicar outfit I mean that outfit was Red and I did see someplace someone said "So the CE outfit for Liara is her attempting to look like Samara or be a Justicar,"

Hello my fellow Samara Fans I come bearing news of that MP DLC in form of a link
http://gamerant.com/...ls-robk-142346/

MP DLC is Free and hits this Tuesday
Asari Justicar is a new class while I don't want to join the ranks of people b!tching about this free DLC when I'm currently enjoying MP, I'd be a hypocrite to do that. The Justicar is a welcome addition I think. But for me the real prize is the 2 Baratarians, I was so let down by them not having jack for camera time in ME3. I wanted to get a chance to put the Baratain issues to rest.

Oh well maybe BW will give us some great DLC with a price tag on it for the Batarians once the ending and LI issues are taken care of.

The new sub-class is Asari Justicar Adept.  I know classes are a meta gameplay concept, but it makes me want to see an Asari Justicar Vanguard   "By the Code, I shall smite my enemies!"

Apparently, there's a distinction between an asari character with Justicar training, and an Asari Justicar Adept. Or, they're renaming "Asari Justicar" training to "Asari Commando Training", which makes far more sense. But, I meant an Asari Justicar Vanguard, as opposed to an Asari Vanguard, like an Asari Justicar Adept is opposed to an Asari Adept.

I don't play any asari characters. I will be naming my Asari Justicar Adept "Not-Samara".

Samara related topic!

Cannot remember if we had this conversation in the old thread but I brought this up to a friend just now...

So it occurred to me while stuffing my face with easter egg chocolate that Spacer Shepard is the only one with a parent (see: mother) still alive to "pass judgement" on their choice of partner.

Thoughts on this scenario? (Yes, assuming Samara is the aforementioned partner.)

Umm My canon Shep is a colonist, and I have another jack@ss whose a spacer, um he does a great job p!ssing everyone off and Samara would have too kill that Shepard because he's a Jack@ss kills everyone and anyone.

I have an Asari Vanguard I named Doro (after the queen of heavy metal Doro Pesch). Tuesday when I unlock the Justicar Asari Adept I plan to name her Anaya,
