"Interestingly, the holo-projector on level
28 of Zakera
Ward
that mentions a potential love interest by name if
they are
present
is capable of saying "Justicar Samara", despite
her not actually
being a full-fledged romance option."
I thought that was pretty cool, I wonder if she says anything about it. Just another reason why she should have been a full LI in ME3. Did anyone notice the holo projector in ME2?

Thats why we are hoping the groups and threads will join up, atleast thats whats being talking about. It would have been great to pick who goes on the Normandy, thats what I'm hoping for. And yeah after seeing how she acted with Falere I think she would be more open to a relationship, exspecialy if she goes on the Normandy were Shepard can talk to her. The thing I would like to see the most is see her break, I mena she did after Rila died she tryed to kill her self. But I mean break down in tears, to see the real person inside that shes been hiding for so long. If that were to happen and you could talk to her and use some paragon diaolgue, I think she would be open to a romance. Her romance would have been very deep and emotional, more so than any other character.Xilizhra wrote...
Unfortunately, the Samara fanbase is far too small to realistically be able to demand any new content for Samara herself, although we're still not quite as badly off as the Jacob fanbase... regardless, I would have enjoyed an option to have the slot for the VS be "open," with you being allowed to take one ME2 squadmate and have them stay in starboard observation, as a means of keeping one's ME2 romance around the ship. Which I believe could be applied to Samara; I think, given some of what we see with Falere in-game here, that her attitude towards romance might theoretically be softening, especially if she actually came onto the Normandy.
The fight for her is hard, but I wont give up yet. She means to much to me and all of us in the group and thread. If you want to join in the fight for her you should join the group if you haven't yet. I'm currently trying to get a Samara Book in the works. I've made a fan website dedicated to her and her fans, I've also started up a Samara initiative on facebook and at HTL. The hash tag is #ForSamara'sLove. All the info is in the group discussion topics under "Suprise" hope to see you there

Lastly, here's the ending flashback of Samara, in black-and-white gif form. She looks so elegant, regal and dignified.
Wow!
She looks stunning in her flashback, I am glad they did the character justice in this part because others just look terrible in their flashbacks.
Premier Bromanov wrote...
The Samara flashback. The only way
to get it is for her to be dead. I'm complaining about this, and
listing the other ways Samaratans got shafted in ME3.
The
flashback should also appear for people who attempted the
"almost-romance", no matter if Samara is alive or dead. They could at
least give us that.
Im annoyed over this, but I halfway expected it.
That said, I suppose you could easily have Samara be the third and last flashback if Shepard attempted to romance her and had no other LI whatsoever. But what of those who attempted to romance her but had a LI in ME3? Should Samara be the second flashback then? And simply have whoever it was orginally meant to show be placed with all the others in "those that died" part in the epilogue speech? I wouldn't mind this personally really.

Yes, but my post was simply a suggestion for how the game could have handled it. Nothing more than that.

Biotic and Beautiful!

Samara impressing Mace Shepard. Jack and Thane are equally impressed, and why shouldn't they be, eh??

She'll join you on the ship.....fantastic!

Heh....your right! I took it while she was finishing her chat with Shepard, in the precinct, right before the mission officially ends. I caught her mid-sentence, which probably explains the appearance. Also, the lighting is very odd at that moment.

The Samara Book is going to be like the Thane and Garrus one. Have pics or fan art that show Shepard or your Shepard with Samara, and the letters can be about why you want Samara back, why she is essential to your Shepards life and what she means to you. What else do yo ulike about her, her looks, voice, her wisdom and so on. Just need to get more people on this so we can get it underway, one of my friends is working on a Samara fan art pic for me, and I'll add that to the book. And I bleieve Gears has one coming as well.Xilizhra wrote...
I tentatively agree with you, but I'd prefer not to see her character weaken somehow even if she does have one moment of tears; it may have to be a short moment, though, as that's how it worked for Liara, Thane and maybe Tali assuming she cried at all (as we can't see it). Anything protracted, while arguably realistic, would look a bit odd.
Also, what precisely is this Samara book?
And by the way (about Samara voice) talking with Samara is like having sex with her without actually having sex, her voice is just so elegant:wub:

The last one, if you look closely, has almost sunshine like rays on it. Don't know how to describe it, but I like it

It sounds interesting, but the trouble is that she's not essential to my Shepard's life, as such, as I'm a Liaramancer primarily. I've been tempted to romance her as my only alternate Shepard, but... hmmm.warlock22 wrote...

An important question: how much do you think Samara genuinely wants another romantic relationship? Or is she genuinely over that part of her life? I may not be able to judge because my only ME3 playthrough so far was not an attempted Samaramance.
There may also be some awkwardness because I'm also a Morinth fan.

Glad you like them though. I LOVE Samara's RM; I have replayed it (and her LM) more times than I can count. Her's and Thanes RMs and LMs, are my favorites.
@Warlock - Beautiful Biotic Goddess, she most certainly is!Glad you like.
Still love it
I love Thane's Loyalty mission.

This is indirectly related - I think one of the most exciting parts of the endings is that, in this new era, Samara's future is wide open. She did say that she is at-peace with the fact that she does not anticipate dying peacefully in bed, but have her thoughts changed? Will she be less fatalistic? Anything is possible for Samara now, including being a lone Justicar until the end of her days.

Thats fine if shes not essentail to your Shepard, I said that because if she is then you should add it, I myself am a Liara fan. She is my main LI really, but Samara is right up there with her for me, I'm torn between them. And as for that part of her life being over, they had her planned as a full LI in ME3 but due to budget issues they stopped, so I would say that she is open to it, they must have had something in mind. I'm also a Morinth fan, but that wont change how I feel about Samara. Have you tried to romance her yet in ME2?Xilizhra wrote...

What I wonder is how much longer Samara has to live... and whether it might actually match up, more or less, with Shepard's own remaining lifespan. For that matter, what the pair of them would actually do after the war was over.

Thats a good question. IF you romanced her in 2 she will hold your hand when you say goodbye and tell you that "Your time is precious, spend it wisely. And with those that care for you." in a slightly sad tone. I guess even in ME3 she still does not see a relationship with Shepard as possible, but at the same time there still seems to be a sense of longing in her words.

What there should have been, there, is an option to say "Yes... and that's why I'd like you to come back." Which shouldn't be that hard to convince her to do, as her battles aboard the Normandy would certainly be accomplishing major things.
She's not the only character to have a flimsy excuse for why she can't join Shepard. I think hers is one of the flimsiest. If she were to go with Shepard to defeat the Reapers, it would make a trip to defend Thessia redundant.
I still can't believe the whole ME2 squad was excluded. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how it makes me feel.
