Do people really hate Ms al-Jilani? Or do they just enjoy punching people? I think its fun to punch her, but its also fun to push the merc out the window or stab people in DA:O. Its pretty unprofessional to punch a reporter for doing her job and if she were interviewing a politician we'd be rooting for her. At least she seems happy to be punched, presumably people will want to watch that and judging from her LotSB videos she gets herself punched quite a lot.

I think the difference is that al-Jilani is clearly manipulative and looking for ratings instead of doing straight investigative reporting a la Emily Wong. Sure, Wong bends the rules a little with that one bug, but she's doing it for a good reason - to make sure that Citadel officials implement changes that improve safety. Now ordinarily, I like to verbally humiliate al-Jilani and discredit her, but I can see why people get so irritated with her behavior and her obvious motivations that they want to deck her. I even did it once (just once!) , and I must admit that it felt good.

Never punched her, never will, seems pretty rough for a cybered up, his punch can kill dude to hit an idiotic reporter...would like to give her the bird though and make her look like a complete idiot on the vids.

I think that just shows she's not as much of an arse as she acts while interviewing Shep. Interviewing Shep she came across quite pro-human, I really didn't expect to see her kissing an alien.

99% of reporters arent people (Emily Wong is an exception) . They are parasites in need of extermination. This is why Jilani is the only woman I never have a problem punching. I refuse to hit women unless they are
