 Hey all, I just started a blog. Now I lack the knowledge, skill, or money to get my own domain name like CulturalGeekGirl and didn't really feel like aquiring it so I just used the rather extensive features on IGN.com. The Blog can be found here: http://www.ign.com/b...guardianangel42

Now I did something a bit ambitious. I knew that people might be interested in ME3 due to the E3 coverage and I knew that Casey Hudson has said that stepping in with ME3 is a viable option.

I, and I'm sure many of you do, disagree. But I know that there will be people out there that really are willing to step in at the final act of the trilogy and I know that due to the coverage there are people who might want to play ME1 and ME2 if they haven't.

The purpose of this series of blog posts is to help those people.

Part one is my breakdown of the pros and cons of ME1. Part 2 is my breakdown of the pros and cons of ME2. Part 3 is the explanation of every fact, event, and plot point that players stepping into ME3 cold turkey will need to understand anything and everything that may or may not happen in that game.

That's what I need help with.

What facts do you all think will play some part in ME3? What parts of the story do you think will carry over from ME1 to ME3 or from ME2 to ME3?

I know I'll be explaining the Mass Effect as it will likely have a major role in regards to dark energy buildup. So what do you think will make a difference? What do you think a new player needs to know in order to understand the characters, setting, and events in ME3?
