Okay, this might have been done before but I have a few pressing questions... Are ME2 DLC's going to be free eventually? Before the ME3 release are they going to put them for free? B/C on all of my plays I haven't played LOTSB and Arrival... 2nd: What happens to the players who didn't end up playing those and end up playing ME3? Are they going to randomly make the choices for you while playing ME3? No i'm not a cheap ****, I just want to know if that's what they'll end up doing so I can save myself $ ...Thanks guys... BTW I play on the 360.

I seriously doubt that they will make the DLC free. However LotSB and Arrival didn't really have any choices in them but what choices they did have will have a default decision like starting a new ME2 save without Genesis.

The DLC will be provided for free to any 80 year old who turns up to the EA offices, with proof of age, and accompanied by all four grandparents.

Ya....no they still sell Pinnacle Station for $5. There has been 1 sale in history and never a price drop ever for ME2 DLC.

I think the only DLC that has been made free was the Bring down the Sky DLC for the first Mass Effect...I doubt they'll make any ME 2 DLC free because they still make a fair bit of money off of it. Maybe in like five to ten years or something.

Yeah ME3 will operate with the assumption that the story DLCs happened and barring a few decisions here or there the end result is essentially the same in both DLC regardless of choice.

They've pretty much come out and said that the DLCs happened and will be addressed in the opening of ME3 to bring people who haven't played them up to speed.

Free DLC? lololololol

Not gonna happen. Theres games for Xbox from 4 years ago that STILL charge for dlc. The only way ME2 DLC will be "free" is if its packaged in some new ME set in the future or something, like years from now.

They will probably do a recap thing to allow you to change some choices as well as to fill in anyone who didn't play the DLCs or previous games.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did some sort of bundle of the DLCs, but it is highly unlikely to be free.

Arrival was meh, LotSB was a-****ing-mazing
If you didn't play them ME3 then assumes that you did.

It's a bit a slap to the face for 360 users since PS3 users having access to this...while the ME franchise was originally on 360... can one of u guys give me a quick rundown as to what happened in LOTSB and Arrival, since I don't think i'll buy the DLC's...Or suggest a website that will provide a walkthrough so I can watch/read it...Just can't fork up the cash...I feel ripped off buying ME2 for $70 and then having to pay more for extras...I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVE the game and have beat it numerous times, but spending extra money on a game you already own is ludicrous imo...Thanks guys for your information...

PS3 users had to wait a year. I'm not envious of them in the slightest.

I wonder what the default decision for Overlord will be. I'm really tired of playing it.

Contradictory statement is contradictory. If you love the series, then you're doing yourself a massive disservice by skipping Lair of the Shadow Broker. Microsoft does sales from time to time, I'm sure it'll go in your favor at some point, because LoTSB is worth every penny even at full price. The opinion is more split on Arrival so I won't comment on that one. But I implore you to give LoTSB a go.

If you're set on your decision to not play it, I'm certain you could find playthroughs on Youtube, or a good synopsis on the Mass Effect wikia.

Side note: If you bought Mass Effect 2 5 months ago and paid $70, I very much so hope you're living in a not-America country in which that makes sense, because you got screwed over if you paid that much in the US. I got it about the same time for $20.

I expect a GOTY edition to be put out some time next year after ME3 is released with the DLC included.

free nah, But I would like to be able to buy the items people got from ordering from game stop. Why should people be punished because of where they bought the game from, the games over a year old no reason not to release that stuff as paid DLC.

In other words bio ware, if you are listening..... "Shut up and take my money"
