Adventure One: Meet the Crew of the Crimson Star
Chapter One:
It was just like any other day in Kirkwall. Loud and crowded, no place for a young city elf. But it was home and it was all she had. Mira was born in the Elven slums in lowtown. an orphin at a young age when a street gang killed her parents wail they where trying to rush home from their work at the docks. Mira lerned quickly how to grow up and survive in this city of chains. Now working as a Barmaid at a sleeze Tavern called the Hangman. It was this day her life would be forever changed.
Mira was buisy whipeing up blood from a recent bar fight when the light from outside cought her eye. standing in the doorway was the most handsome and scruffy human she had ever seen. Her large blue eyes took in his sight as he stood almost poseing. The man was not the tallest human but still more than her. he was very fit as she could tell from his tight leather pants and open sailors shirt. as her eyes roamed over him she noticed that his wrists where in shackels a broken chain hanging from them. with a sly smile on his lips the man moved swiftly into the room. seemingly with each step gathering new cloths from sleeping or uncouis patrens. he took a coat from a man sleeping on a table. a hat from a man bleeding onto the floor and boots from a elf draped over the bartop. finaly sitting at a crowed table in the courner.
almost as if on que the city gaurd burst into the door. shouting and grabing at the men around the bar. "We are looking for an excaped prisoner. he was last seen heading this way." the gaurds shout and search wail the man grabed the sleeping qunari and draped his large arm over him to pose as if he was his friend. Mira remained silent as the gaurds rumaged about. one of witch stoped and grabed her by her arm and shook her. "Have you seen a human in bindings come through here" the gaurd shouted into her face. Mira only shook her head in fear. the gaurd reared back his armored hand to strike the elven girl when the sound of a commaneding female voice shouted " Gaurdsmen We do not hit the peple we are sworn to protect.the prisoner is clearly not here now move on" the gaurd reluntely released mira and followed the Red haird women out of the hangman.
just as soon as they had left Mira turned to look for the man but he was gone from the table. her eyes lowered to her task of cleaning with almost sadness. "So why would a lovely elven lass like you lie to a city gaurd for some one she never met?" the voice spoke from behind her. Mira's eyes perked as she turned to see the man smileing at her. "I..I.am not sure..you just looked like you needed help" her voice was timed and shakey. the man smiled to her as he removed the gathered cloths expet for the new boots. "Well Mi'ladie I am Captain Drake and It is a great pleasure to meet you" he smiled and bowed to Mira. a cute giggle escaped her lips as the man bowed to her somethign that neve has heppened to her befor. "I am Mira...I work here" she smiled wide to the handsome Captain. " Well Lady Mira I must be off to my ship Im sure my crew is worried sick..concidering the last they saw of me I was being put in chains" with a sly smile he got up and moved to the door. just as he was about to rush out the door he stoped "would you like to come with me Lady Mira?" his bright green eyes locked with Mira's. her heart raceing as she droped her rag and ran to his waitng hand " Id Love to" she almost shouted with excitment.
the two raced down to the docks. ducking and waveing threw the crowds to get to the last port in the line. There she was The Crimson Star. the ship was beautiful it was sleek and embrordered with designes from Antiva and Orlais. the mass was spiraled with the designes of sea dragons and mermaids. the atop was the crows nest and flew a crimson flag with a large black Star. along the haul where several cannon ports the where framed with Dwarven ruins. as Mira took in this lovely ship a tall Qunari moved into veiw on the deck. "Captain good to see you have returned..who is the elf?" the quinaris deep voice sent shivers down Mira's spine. "our new Crewmember Mira..so be friendly Darr" the Captain shouted back with a smile.
the boreding plank lowed down at the captain's feet. with Mira's hand in his he led her onto the deck to see the mix bunch of crewmen. Mira took in the sight of a Tall Qunari from befor. next to him was the fist female qunari she had ever seen. the Qunari omen stood pourd and almost stern in her gaze on the new elf girl. makeing it clear the women tightly grabed the hand of the male qunari next to her showing their pairing. Mira's gaze moved down the line to two young twin darves. both looking at her with lustful eyes. she game them a smile. both turned to eachother " She likes me"one said " your sodding mad she was smileing at me" said the other. the two started to push each other and than started to fight. Mira movd her gaze down further to see a very lovely man. the man's long golden hair flowed in the gental brease. his sparkeling blue eyes meeting hers. Mira's heart raced . but as soon as his gaze met hers he turned his face in disgust befor looking to the cptan with a loveing smile " welcome home My captain" the mans voice was sweet and soft. Captain Drake smiled " allow me to introduce you to my crew". he moved to the qunari pair " this is my fist officer Darr and his life mate Flower" Mira's eyed the two "those are strang names for Qunari". Both grayskin lovers shot hateful glares at her " We are not of the Qunari nor are we of the Talvashok. we simply are." Darr said in his deep and demanding voice.
they moved don to the twins " this is Frik and Crik they where from Orzamar.a part called dust town..where the clastless live." Captain drake spoke as the two where still rolling around in their fight over Mira. a cute giggle escpes her as she watches them. "and this is Bart..He is a former circle mage..and has a fancey for other men..myself included" Captain smiled and winked to the lovely mage. as he turns to face Mira " last chance to run home befor we cast off" he held her hands in his with a sly smile on his scruffy face. Mira smiled wide as she said " I have never wanted anything more than this" with that Captain drake let out a sharp whistel and the crew sprang into action making the ship ready to set sail.
