Twist #3: Shepard has Reaper tech in him. Again, this would suck, but has been discussed before.
that reminded me a lot of Dead Space 2, with Isaac (protagonist) struggling with the necomoroph disease in his head, corrupting his mind. worked out well in that game.

Looking at the names "Keepers" and "Reapers", it looks like it may be a description of their roles. I think the Keepers are guarding something even more terrifying than Reapers. It makes sense, given that they are called "Keepers". Maybe the Reapers' role is to harvest organics that somehow helps the Keepers keep whatever it is they're guarding at bay?

So by destroying the reapers, the keepers can no longer function releasing whatever it is they're hiding. I doubt the Keepers will shut down immediately....so you've pretty much set the plot for ME4.

Tbh, I doubt the Keepers are actually keeping anything at bay and I'm pretty sure one of the council races gave them that name.

I've got a thought crossed my mind...what if events of ME2 and ME3 are just a Shepard's dream. Just like Matrix or DS2. So in fact Shep is dead and the cycle is not broken.

Maybe the reapers are a product of fear. A species scared of dieing, so 'juiced' themselves into a reaper. Perhaps Haarbringer is a human reaper, from time ago.

The Reapers are not the enemies and they are preventing something that would be catastrophic to the universe, which is why they have to do what they do.

I'm guessing Shepard and Cerberus teaming up after:
a) TIM is de-indoctrinated by Shepard & co. somehow
he was not indoctrinated in the first place, but he helped the reapers in exchange for some humans to survive the purging process and realized the reapers were not going to keep their end of the bargain, which led TIM to ally with Shepard
c) Miranda will replace TIM as head of Cerberus after we kill TIM and she'll shut-down all indoctrination devices (if any) turning all of Cerberus's resources against the Reapers (this includes the collector base which might be a good thing if you kept it) - this is the most likely scenario... we'll get the LI back in an important role (a la Liara in LotSB) + we'll get to see the death of a legend in the ME universe... TIM, the man who fought the Reapers even before Shepard, but eventually was turned to "the Dark Side" becoming a "Sith apprentice" and killing what he cared for the most - humanity (come to think of it, it really sounds like SW)

Yeah I would not be surprised if they went all Anti-Spiral on us with the Reapers, especially if Harby isn't just drunk. This is totally how the final battle in ME3 should look. :innocent:

Though in all seriousness 10$ that it involves Entropy and heat death on some level.
