Hey there,

I wanted to know whether it is possible to create some kind of "gap" in the timeline, somewhere in between. The problem is, that I need to fill in an action afterwards which I didn't know I needed earlier. The problem is, that I cannot "select everything" and just move it forward because there are way too many actions, actors and camera's for that.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Hi Latiro,

it is not necessary to create a gap. You can insert later time at the position of the time line marker:
Menu Edit > Insert time > Number of frames which should be inserted
Vice versa you can delete time as well.

Edit: If there is already an action, eg. Snap to Walkmesh, at the position where you would like to insert later frames, it will be split. But this could easily be adjusted.

Hey

Thats great news! Thank you!
But how do I create a time marker? In the "Insert" Menu I can only find "Light", "Proxy", "VFX" and "Camera"?

LoL - you are working already with the marker

Here is the marker´s position on frame 30.

Edit: Sorry if I expressed it not clear enough. It is just the vertical line. Not to be mistaken with the markers you can create by a right click.
