If Bioware makes her an option I have one of my Sheps lined up for her. She's a good character, if a bit under played. Not a sexual thing, but more of a character motivation. She seems like the Spacer type.

Hmm... I think most of the minor characters could use a bit more detail and dialogue.
The engineers, Joker and Kelly had quite a bit more dialogue that continued through the game. Chakwas however felt kinda "useless" after the brandy scene and that was a shame. Maybe it's also because most of the normandy just feels like hallways after a while. Theres not really anything "interesting" going on. Only the odd conversation you can listen in on.
Romance? Hmm sure why not. As an easter eggish thing like with Kelly.
For a "real" Li she would need way more detail though.

Alas, unless you get a legion of people to suddenly join up I think the odds of this actually happening are slim. Maybe with serious persistance. Or both, just look at the same sex crowd, nobody thought that was going to happen (Well, I didn't) and it did. I support this, why not? I just don't think it'll happen.
Hell they didn't give us Wynne so they may as well give us Chakwas.

It's crazy. They'll NEVER EVER EVER do it. Joker's a maybe, Chakwas they'll never do.
...but it would be awesome and I'm hoping I'm wrong. I absolutely would set a Shepdude up with a distinguished older woman of refined tastes yet agreeable humor like the Doc. She rocks.
If they don't, I'll still adore her in my quiet way. But she's so great, and I will milk every bit of interaction I can get with her because of it. Drinking and reminiscing with her was so nice. If we're extra, extra lucky, then maybe there's a reason why Chakwas survives regardless of whoever else among the crew doesn't.

The kid in me remembers the Sultan in Aladdin telling Jafar "But you're so ooooooooolllllllllldddddddd"

I love how you put that in there. What makes joker a more likely candidate for romance then Chakwas? Or is that you're own personally hope backed up by nothing?
He's got a disease that even if he gets up to pee he can brake a bone, and you think Femshep would be able to bounce on him without snapping his hips in half? right.
See the thing that's the issue here isn't age because technically you can almost kiss the Asari equivalent to a grandmother (samara) and if it weren't for her code she'd have banged shep anyway. So I don't see what the problem is and how this is unlikely.

Some of these arguments against this romance reminds me of the people saying no to the Jokermance. Though, I probably wont be romancing the doctor, I support it wholeheartedly. She's been with you since the beginning after all.

I don't understand why people assume she's super old. Her age is never stated in game, she could be as "young" as Anderson for all we know, maybe even younger. Remember in the books people look alot younger at what we consider old age now but for some reason this doesn't translate to in game.

I think people who support this need to add their support into their sigs that way more people here about this idea. I had now idea this thread even existed and never understood what your sig bar ment. Maybe someone should make a "I support Dr.Chakwas as LI in ME3" or something.
