I was wondering why the animations in the demo where so fast, the old animations would have been dreadful for MP but it seems they are speeding it up to include MP.

Oh EA, you old dog. And by old dog I mean ***** ***** *** **** **** *****

Only Team Fortress 2 is only truly fast paced multiplayer shooter.

No? not even the part where he said they are "focused on the best SP experience in the series"?

Casey is simply alleviating people's fears about the quality of the single player dropping with a MP added. If they can find a way to add a MP. Then they'll do it. If they can't, they wont. Simple as that. So no, not even that part.

Not possible in 9 months without cutting out something.

And even in 9 months we would not have well made multiplayer since Mass Effect is now on XBox 360, PC and PS3.

Well, the game was delayed from the original release so it's possible. Anyway, point still stands, there has been no definitive confirmation of no MP in ME3.

But I bet this thread will still eventually be closed because Javier likes to abuse his power.

They posted a job notice for multiplayer dev back in what, June 2010? That's a year ago. They may have quite a bit of MP details worked out, but not ready for public consumption at E3. Who knows, maybe they were planning to add MP as an expansion to the game after its holiday release, but now with the delay they're incorporating it? Or maybe they know exactly how to incorporate it, and what they haven't figured out is how to introduce the concept to a highly irrational and volatile fanbase. Could be any number of things going on behind the scenes we have no idea of.

At any rate, they're still keeping their options open and not committing either way. Smart move I think, but fans are likely to get restless.

This is so lame. I hope this isn't true. BW could at least finish off this trilogy without jamming in MP. I'm fine with it in another game after this is over but please not in ME3.

Meaning you are talking what "Casey" sayed. When I was more interested what the article writer sayed when he/she quoting what Caseys saying.

What the writer is saying in that article is irrelevant, it was just a long winded way of asking Casey Hudson "will there be MP in Mass Effect 3".  What is relevant is what Casey Hudson says and his reply clearly shows they are not ruling MP out of Mass Effect 3 and they are not saying there will be MP in Mass Effect 3.  It is just Casey being vagued and not committing himself to either situation.  So using what Casey said in the Game Informer article as "proof there will be no MP in ME 3" is inaccurate.

I disagree, not you point, but you viewpoint.

Article as interview there is more than just few quotes to show orginal speakers points. There is a lot of behind it too, that was what I was interested, why writer got different viewpoint than was in Caseys quote, how it was connected what was sayed by article writer.

You other hand consenrate all effort in only Caseys few quotes what was shown as quoted, without knowing what else caseys has sayed to article writer.

When I was interviewed by newspaper reporter in real life, we talked a lot. Even outside of the article stuff. When I readed the article writen about me. Article writer did put some own ideas in it too and some quotes. A lot of stuff was also left out what we still talked.

That's why I was also interested article writer words, not just Caseys.

If there's smoke, there's gonna be fire too. And there's been TOO much smoke on MP in ME3 to make believe it'll be 100% single-player.

What smoke?!

This article going on some information that is from secret source, which is written all over the place that is BS.

9 Months is not enough to make good multiplayer with this game mechanics even with sacrificing singleplayer.

You can only speculate as to what was and what was not discussed behind the facade of the article. So even if the article writer said no MP, that does not in any way make it definite and using it as proof was still a poor attempt at an argument.

Then why they didn't made announcement on E3?
That's a lot of time to give some multiplayer content there in that time frame.

No, this hired people are only there for spin off games.

And fanbase is irrational with ME3 multiplayer?
Name me a game with long Singleplayer that has multiplayer.
And also it's an RPG.

ME3 should be and shall be singleplayer only experience.
