@x-Legion-x  you're right, But devs do not promise that Mass Effect 3 will end with our victory, we know that
Mass Effect 3 is the final story of Shepard.

Perhaps the final phrase of Reaper will be: "It is isn't the end, Shepard."
Perhaps Reapers will leave and disappear into the void of the universe.
And the final phrase will be: "We won, but paid a huge price. We will never forget the sacrifice of those who died so that we survived. Will change the generation, but now everyone will know and remember that one day and Reapers will return."

I hope the Reapers are dealt with by the end.  I'd be in favour of seeing more games but there are far more interesting things than the Reapers in the Galaxy.  I actually like the more "day to day" things better anyway, like race politics and dealing with your squadmates.

That reminds me of a good point Mordin brings up, it's too difficult to imagine the entire galaxy so it's easier to focus on one thing that represents the larger conflict (this is probably the main reason that Earth will be involved in ME3, it represents the entirety of Humanity and basically "life").  A side effect of this is that comparitively smaller conflicts don't need to feel any less epic and awesome, just because you're only fighting for the fate of one planet doesn't mean it's not important.
