Unconfirmed of course, but some would say there's no smoke without fire.

Co-Op missions designed from the ground up to increase replayability and are seperate from overaching storyline.

Hmm

Doubly don't care. I don't do online co-op, and my ME stuff is all on Xbox -- and I don't pay Micro$oft for Gold.

If they lock these topics down without saying anything, they're all but admitting MP in ME3.

Don't we have enough threads erupting about a possible multiplayer?

I would support a multiplayer if:

1.) It "fits" into the themes and tones of ME
2.) It's fun
3.) It isn't some other CoD shoot 'em up

For instance, I started playing the multiplayer for AC:Brotherhood and I LOVE IT. I can jump off the top of a church tower and stab someone in the head!

However, I do not see how a multiplayer would fit into ME3 without being another senseless shoot-em-up. But I would have said the same thing about AC.

We will see.

I did say the same thing about AC MP. And that was, indeed, awesome. ME MP will appear eventually, but not in ME3 I suspect.

Well of course.  The source is unnamed because if the rumor is actually true then he would be in clear breach of his NDA.  And that would make him pretty much unemployable in his industry going forward.

As for the viability of a co-op, i'd give it a fair crack, so long as it was utterly independent of the main single player game.

Ha!  Would you rather I posted and presented the topic as if it was fact.  FFS.

Current Policy is that MP Discussion must stay outside of the Core Trilogy. If you have an issue with Forum Policy, PM Mr. Priestly.
