We all know that Jack Wall and others did an exceptional job. Most of us are familiar with Clint Mansells' powerful scores as well. In a "Jack" thread a poster and I started talking about music we associate with certain characters. Music that invokes the power and attitude of the character. This isn't changing a score, just music we hear when dealing with the characters.

Well those are mine. Thane and others are hard because their characters are too complicated for just one type of sound. So, what music can you relate to a character in the ME universe?

This song, IMO, fits perfectly with the context of Shepard rising to fight the Reapers. The song starts with a very synthetic, robotic sound (which would symbolize the Reapers) and then from underneath that comes the more orchestral sound until the orchestral sound completely drowns out the synthetic sound. (This would obviously symbolize Shepard)

but to me it would perfectly suit a love scene , or Shep gazing into the big empty void before some major confrontation.

OP, i really like your choice for the confrontation between TIM or the final Reaper. I think that would work very well in ME3 as the final "Time for the reapers to die" cutscene music.

Also, I always thought the Russian National Anthem kind of sounded like victory music (planes flying over head, lots of troops fighting back enemy forces), but I think it would be out pf place in ME.  Oh well

Thanks. I was really trying to see if others had a piece of music in mind when they play. Not trying to change the soundtrack which I'm hoping will be superb. It's just music can be the very fabric that ties the game together on a personal level.

The Russian National Anthem makes me think that Uldina and the Council are running around trying to scramble troops to defend the Citadel and I can see it ending badly for them.

Always loved this piece, truly underrated IMO. Nothing is more epic or installs fear in me like this.
