I was really hoping that Femshep would make the cover... oh well they are putting her in a trailer so its a marginal improvement. As for whats on the cover, maybe have Shepard crashing a space station into a Reaper while screaming (in a speech bubble) "I KNOW YOU FEEL THIS! ****!"

Shes made the Cover on the Collectors Edition though [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]


And yes I dont expect that to remain the same.  ME2 cover changed again very late!

^^ it was terrible in my opinion... The collectors edition cover of ME2 was awesome but I don't want the regular cover to get the shaft

They won't put squadmates on it because most of them can die. Only Liara and Vega can be put on it in good faith. I just don't see them on it. The art looks good to me right now.

There's still some time to go before the game goes gold, and as cool as I think the cover looks I'd say it isn't the definitive one.

bad pun alert! Yes I totally get it Mesina2 Legion should be on the cover in fact he should be the only thing on the cover. Kicking ass as Legion does!

apparently the new melee device is awesome enough to be on the cover of the game?

**** melee up its butt. i was to see a pic of shepard just as hes firing off a pull, hand raised to the gods, eyes fixed on soon to be floating enemies.....with liara and garrus poking through the background.

That is cool, I just hope it's not horribly low quality. I'm not expecting embossed leather, but I also don't want the ink coming off on my hands and fearing to open it should the binding separate. I've seen some art books that are that cheap, and it's LAME.

Glad I bought the CE so I get FemShep on the cover     =)     hope that there is some good things with her in the artbook as well!

Yeah, but not for the same reason; I think it looks like something made by a fan with some skills at editing images, not by professionals at their jobs.

Definitely looks like a conceptual mockup. A visual aid to the boring textual line list of features. Although the final pieces may use the same art in the same places.

True. But not only the content matters, the most important is the way things are put together. ( shooting angle, coulours, lights, view...)
I hope it's just a place holder. The more I think of it, the more i find it extremely cheesy. Shepards looks, position, omni-blade...He's like saying, " come get some, alien bi"chezz :devil:".

this cover needs the Normandy on it like the other 2 and like the 1st have harbinger right behind the title like sarens eyes were and tali next to shep.............................AND COWBELL
