Co-Op in Mass Effect 3

What are your thoughts on this? My opinion is that it can be either long enough to be worth playing but will detract from the singleplayer experience or short enough that it won't detract from the main game but will then be not worth playing. I really hope this is just a rumor.

Co-op thread locking?
Sorry, I know I shouldn't contribute to this, but it seems that these rumours pop off all too often, so it's one of two things in my mind:
1: Lame gaming websites trying to push for hits by starting said rumours
2: Not so lame gaming websites that actually have real 'sources' providing these tid bits.
It has been said before that nothing is confirmed until the game ships. I personally don't mind one bit if they finish Mass Effect 3, and then work on co-op/MP DLC after release - heck, I may even buy it depending how good it is. Of course I would be disappointed if it was included in the game proper, but ONLY if it significantly affected other aspects of the game.
Ultimately, it's out of our hands what game developers and publishers wish to include in their products. Que sera, sera!
Can the mods outright delete threads instead of just locking them? These things tend to lurk and encourage others to emerge merely because of their presence.

1.This isn't news
2. Anyone not able to see the other 10 multiplayer threads should be banned outright

That seems reasonable. If this is genuinely nonsense, I don't imagine he'll have any problem with locking it. If it isn't, well, that'll be interesting.

This is fake. It was stated by Casey Hudson and the ME team that Multiplayer/Co-op was not to be in ME3. They said they would look into that in the next set of games to take place in the ME universe.
Show where Casey Hudson or anyone explicitly said that there would be no multiplayer in Mass 3. You can't. The way they have carefully worded their response is so they can say in the future that they neither denied it or confirmed it. It's EA, not Bioware. EA's the boss, and their whole agenda is to make money. The best way to do that in today's market is to introduce multiplayer, or at least from their point of view. By tacking on a multiplayer component, they expect sales to increase. It's not about beating CoD or Halo, it's all about the extra profits they would obtain from those people who buy games just for the multiplayer.
But going back to the Co-op, not that I'm accepting it as a valid source, I can guarantee you that Mass Effect will have some sort of multiplayer feature. Whether it be Co-op, or PvP, it has a 99% chance of being there. It happened to Dead Space, there's no doubt that it will happen in ME3. It just goes to show you how desperate they are for sales since it's the last installment of the series and they could wait until the next Mass Effect project starts. But EA doesn't care about ruining their games.
