I just discovered all my stored bookmarks to the information on the old bioware forums (www.bioware.com) lead to the new homepage of bioware.com. Was all the information from the old fora deleted? Was there no notice about it? I got 73 bookmarks to topics with useful information for playing Baldur's Gate, from solving bugs to tips for party creation, discussions about tactics for dealing with difficult encounters etc. etc... If you have a problem in-game, even after 1 year of the new forum, the chance of finding your answers with a search on the forum had 10+ times greater chance of succes on the old fora, because the old search function was much better and because there was such a huge vault of knowledge built up over the years, dating back to 2005 or even earlier? Bioware, what have you done with this invaluable treasure of information???
