Microsoft just released Konect Windows SDK.  How about it?

Interesting...but surely a headset for the pc version is all they would need. Surely this could be intergrated, after all it is just voice control.

Well that's just simply Microsoft releasing the SDK for non-commercial public use. So if you want to spend the next year making it work for ME3 have at it it's not like Bioware is all the sudden gonna have Kinect PC support cause there is no Kinect PC.

ME3 uses the Kinect software for the voice recognition. ME3 won't have the code to do it without a Kinect.

I see. So what you are saying is that, the software will only make the recognition through Kinect and that Headset intergration just for PC would not be possible?

Basically, the voice recognition in ME3 is completely reliant on the Kinect. The game doesn't have self contained recognition software.

Just keep an eye out around the interwebz. I dont think it will be long before the SDK is hacked to provide VR for standard microphone/headsets.
