Also, another feature I would like added is a label at the bottom of the screen showing a running total of all the bonuses. Having to count them up in my head, then compare it to something else was mildly irritating.

I hope they can deliver on the promises they made to deepen the weapons and armor system. Anyone else hoping for research upgrades in conjunction with the mods? That way you'll still have the same items and not clog up your inventory, but still have them get progressively better.

I would also like to see some kind of SPECTRE armour (weapons too) this time. Perhaps only available if you were reinstated in ME2?

This is a great idea. I can't believe BioWare never thought of anything like this in ME2. Even in ME1 you had access to SPECTRE gear on the Citadel and on your ship.

What it sounds like is that there needs to be spectre armor, I would vote for tele vasir's armor because its sick, has the spectre symbol and has an awesome look and pattern to it.

I think they were along the right path in ME2 but the different suits were a bit of a no no. The N7 armour was good, it was modular and highly customisable, the Cerberus armour etc, not so much. If they had made the other armour part of the N7 suit much like they did with the later Kestrel armour then it would be awesome.

BioWare NEEDS to make definitive SPECTRE and N7 gear. All unique, all NOT goddamn pre-order retailer exclusives.

I know there was Spectre gear in ME1, but like all other armor, it was just reskinned, different stats versions of pretty much everything else.

Lastly, something that really annoyed me (and I dont know why), I'm very much hoping that we can customize the color of the lights on our armor.

OMG!! THIS!!!!

Sometimes I wanted to go without black, blue, grey armors... but I always switched back to those colors b/c the armor lights didn't match! lmao

i really don't understand why a lot of armors in Me1 were available only through concole commands (skirmisher, freedom), and were used in ME2 but you never got to wear them, that said, i wouldn't mind having the choice of wearing something between the lines of Thane (not exactly that) that gives you speed but less protection, and a blue sun-esque armor (really big plates) that maybe clogs your movement but offers supreme protection

Most of what I would want has already been stated.

I think helmets being removed while in conversation has be confirmed (well as confirmed as anything can be in a game half a year away from release), I also would like the return of light/medium/heavy armour, but what I would like the most is the armour I spent God knows how many hours trying to find in me1 returned to me so I can upgrade and modify them in me3 (also wouldn't mind someone returning my 9,999,999 credits).

Haha same here.  Especially when I used an infiltrator, i didn't think glow in the dark armor really felt right.

I would definitely like to see Tela Vasir's armor in ME3, both male and female versions. What I am hoping for in ME3 is really a combination of the armor systems from ME and ME2; i.e. you can buy separate suits of armor but can mix and match the different parts and create the suit you want. It seemed that that is what Bioware was attempting to do with the Kestrel armor, which was really great, except for the helmet. It made sense that armor was modular, but buying individual pieces all the time just felt awkward. Ideally, there should be around 10-12 individual suits each with their own distinct properties, but we constructs our own from the individual pieces.

I just want a helmet that looks like a Star Wars Scout Trooper helmet. You know you want it.

This seems like it would work well.  Each piece would give a bonus, but then I also think if someone wears all pieces from the same armor set they get an "entire suit" bonus.   Also, I think they should still offer a fair amount of individual pieces, but the standard ones should be in stores and the ones that offer bigger bonuses should be loot.

Another armor set I would like to see is armor influenced by reaper tech.  I just think it would be cool looking.

Armour never really bothered me, I just really hope they bring back the Blood Dragon set. Best armour in the game by a long shot. With the option to toggle it off for cutscenes now returning for ME3, I'd even be willing to buy Dragon Age 2 for another roll with the Blood Dragon.

ok hear me out, I know there are lots of people on here that probably hate the game, but I think that a halo reach like system would be awesome. A base suit without all the frills and then through the game shepard finds/buys pieces to add on to his suit. That way those of us who want a sleek non walking tank look would be happy and if you want that bulky heavy trooper look add all the armor you want to your suit. say you have an armored chest plate (think aegis vest from me2) that adds health and increases power damage and you have a light stealth chest (like jacob or a smaller zaeed chest piece) that adds shields and reduces power recharge time. sort of a trade off to suit your play style. What do you guys think ?
