I would also like to see some kind of SPECTRE armour (weapons too) this time. Perhaps only available if you were reinstated in ME2?
This is a great idea. I can't believe BioWare never thought of anything like this in ME2. Even in ME1 you had access to SPECTRE gear on the Citadel and on your ship.

I know there was Spectre gear in ME1, but like all other armor, it was just reskinned, different stats versions of pretty much everything else.

Lastly, something that really annoyed me (and I dont know why), I'm very much hoping that we can customize the color of the lights on our armor.
OMG!! THIS!!!!
Sometimes I wanted to go without black, blue, grey armors... but I always switched back to those colors b/c the armor lights didn't match! lmao

BioWare NEEDS to make definitive SPECTRE and N7 gear. All unique, all NOT goddamn pre-order retailer exclusives.

I think helmets being removed while in conversation has be confirmed (well as confirmed as anything can be in a game half a year away from release), I also would like the return of light/medium/heavy armour, but what I would like the most is the armour I spent God knows how many hours trying to find in me1 returned to me so I can upgrade and modify them in me3 (also wouldn't mind someone returning my 9,999,999 credits).

Haha same here. Especially when I used an infiltrator, i didn't think glow in the dark armor really felt right.

I would definitely like to see Tela Vasir's armor in ME3, both male and female versions. What I am hoping for in ME3 is really a combination of the armor systems from ME and ME2; i.e. you can buy separate suits of armor but can mix and match the different parts and create the suit you want. It seemed that that is what Bioware was attempting to do with the Kestrel armor, which was really great, except for the helmet. It made sense that armor was modular, but buying individual pieces all the time just felt awkward. Ideally, there should be around 10-12 individual suits each with their own distinct properties, but we constructs our own from the individual pieces.
This seems like it would work well. Each piece would give a bonus, but then I also think if someone wears all pieces from the same armor set they get an "entire suit" bonus. Also, I think they should still offer a fair amount of individual pieces, but the standard ones should be in stores and the ones that offer bigger bonuses should be loot.
Another armor set I would like to see is armor influenced by reaper tech. I just think it would be cool looking.
