Stupid to base your opinion off of demos since you have no idea what the plot is. Also, the combat looks streamlined and improved with new jump and move between cover functionality as well as the omni-blade. Stop complaining, it's 9 months away, go play WoW

What's with you people? "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PLOT IS! YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION!"

I ask one simple question and i get blasted harder than 2008 election.

Well, they have added a new gun attachment and mod/customization space, that's an RPG element. They are drawing on choices from both previous games-- That's an RPG element. They announced they would have more inter-party banter and dialogue with squadmates than ever-- That's another RPG element. They said that cinematics will be customized to your specific choices beforehand in the game and they expanded romances to encompass S/S and Bi. They all sound like requests people here have made and BW has listened. What do you have to say about any of it? :innocent:

The leap from ME1 to ME2 was pretty huge, in terms of gameplay, graphics, etc. We're not going to see another big leap forward, more of a combination of both games' strengths while fixing the weaker elements. The Kinect stuff and possible multiplayer... that's just EA and Bioware trying to make the game as appealing as they can to as many people as possible, but I don't think it's going to impact the singleplayer. They have different teams working on each thing.

And they've already shown off the expanded RPG elements... so nothing to worry about there.

If you loved ME2 even more than ME1, why does there need to be any improvements at all?

Maybe for the sake of making the game even better? The game was great but nothing is perfect. What you just said is basically the mind set of the developers of NFL Madden, which is all different topic all together so i won't go there XD.

If no improvements are going to be made, then what was the delay for exactly?

Oh that's sweet. I didn't hear anything about that so that's good to hear.

See was that so hard? Being a nice guy is pretty easy once you get the hang of it ;)

If you really saw no improvements, you must not have been watching very closely.

I'm just asking people do some research, there's a thread here with around 100 or so confirmed and speculated additions to the game by Phaedon. It's a great place to see the development :wizard:

How close was i suppose to see all the gameplay footages? Because looking at point-blank range at the computer all day could really hurt the eyes. :(

I usually do. I've been a little too much research on another Bioware game (SWTOR) that's been getting more than enough attention from me since I played some of it at PAX East but I have not done the same with ME3 so i thought i would ask around the best site for that information :D

there is another improvment. the graphics look better from what i saw in the demo. anderson doesn't look like a lumpy piece of plastic anymore

movement also looks to be smoother and less stiff

I don't see why being an RPG means you can't have improvements to movement. Especially if it happens to be an RPG with a large emphasis on tactical shooting.

The game looks excellent from what I've seen so far. You can make the case that it doesn't draw the line between shooter and RPG in quite the right place from what we've seen, but the game does look like it is going to be a superb one.

you don't have to post what you think about or hate about the game because you are just back to the past. ME 1 is the worst ME game. if you like pure RPG, don't play mass effect. it's action / RPG (little) game. you don't have to come here for convincing people the game is bad. nobody believes you since we saw 20 minutes of E3 2011 gameplay trailer. I am just curious how your brain looks like.

Back in the past? Where did anything in my post say that suggested that?

I never game my opinion on my feelings about if i liked pure RPG or not. So i don't see the point in what your saying either on that.

I never came here to convince other people that the game is bad, I came here to hear what news has there been about any improvements on the game is all. Your whole post is for trolls, not me.

I am just as curious to see how your brain works as well. We have so much in common! :D

The action feels more fluid and seems to let you slip around the battlefields more easily while also expanding on the number of ways you can approach given situations.

Gun customization.

Background scenes that actually make the game look more alive, such as the exploding warship that forces you to take a new route sliding down the side of a building.

There's a lot to be excited for and a lot more to come.

So, your judging a game by what you saw 8 months before its even released?

You should feel bad, you have disgraced Bioware.

What you saw at E3 is probably a pre-alpha build, not even close to the final product.

And everyone said the same thing, when gameplay was released of ME2, at almost the exact same time.

AND THEY LOVED IT.

Known improvements:
- Stealth
- Melee combat
- Increased mobility (ladders)
- Increased weapon customization
- Increased skill customization
- Same-sex relationships
- Better hair models
- 'Previously on Mass Effect' comic in case I want to play Mass Effect 3 without having to play 1 and 2 again.
- New banter
- Increased gameplay diversity (one rail shooter, one mech ride)
- Helmet toggle

Plus, you know, the pay-off for everything that happened in ME1 and ME2.

yes, yes i am indeed. At least I am being honest about it XD.

the only disgrace i see is horrendous reactions like someone killed their cat over a simple question from someone who might not have done enough research about the game. Not everyone is as smart as you are bud ;).

Oh really? I didn't know that! I thought the game was already finished and was being given away at E3 for all the good boys and girls attending! -_-

I didn't feel that way about ME2 during that time, i was just happy that there was going to be another Mass Effect game :3.

Stealth, nice.
Melee combat, very nice. I'm actually more into swords then guns myself actually :D.
increased skill customization is always a plus. Same goes for weapons.
I thought you could do same sex with female-female with Liara already?
hair models for underratedly nice. Most games for some reasons don't usually have the hairstyles i want and most of them also usually don't have that many to choose from so that's also a great thing.
what does a new banter mean exactly?
cool on the gameplay.
What do you mean by helmet toggle?

Good stuff. For a second where the thread was going at the beginning, i thought i was better off asking 4chan -_-.
