I romanced Ashley in mass effect 1 and tali in mass effect 2. I did it just to see what happens and the consiquence and if i have to choose between one in mass effect 3 ill likely choose tali since she stayed with me through mass effect 1 and 2 and stood by me where ashley would not she left with hatered and would not join since i was with cerberus.
Did you cheat on your mass effect 1 romance just to see the outcome?

I did. However, I did not cheap on Liara with my canon femShep, but my other Shepards cheated on Ash with Jack. Kaidan with Jacob. I am working on a game now where another femShep cheated on Liara, but I will more than likely get Liara back after doing LotSB. I wanted to see Liara's reaction on the balcony.

I should have added. I am looking forward to what happens between Ash and Jack. One is just a soldier/Spectre and the other is a super biotic.
That is one of two male Shep I have plan on importing to ME3. The other one stayed faithful to Ash. I will not being do the same for Kaidan. No faithful femShep for him.

Both of my 'canon' Shepards cheated, but it was more about personality than any meta-knowledge. I'm actually hoping that whatever ramifications there will be, they can be defused easily--no love triangles while we're trying to defeat the Reapers, please. Even if catfights would be incredibly amusing.

I honestly created several Shepards with the intention of them becoming Ashley loyalists, i must admit that most of those shepards failed this task because Miranda was just too darn perfect and i forgot all about poor Ash, who is also quite awesome. So i will have some Consequences when Mass Effect 3 rolls out, but im in the process of making a "pure" Ash's Shepard and a "pure" Miranda's Shepard

Not gonna lie..... after ME2 came out, I made a Shepard in ME1 who romanced Ashley... JUST so I could cheat on her with Jack to see what happens in ME3.

Damn. That's some high score sh**. Be awesome if in ME3 it could all really hit the fan for you and there'd actually be a believable way to salvage one of those relationships.
I romanced Tali on my first ME2 playthrough. Wanted to see her face.
Also almost went through with it with Jack. Really like her, just never happened.
BUT - my canon Shep is loyal to Liara till the end.

I have 10+ playthroughs some were i ve cheated others were i am loyal to them. Kiadan is so easy to replace in ME 2 with a new lover. Ash on the other hand is a bit harder to cheat on, I like her agressiveness and she tries to keep you loyal to her.

Ashley letter makes me think she wants a second shot at romnace with shep.
"When things settle down a little... maybe... I don't know. Just take care.'
While kiadan letter says to me that he hopes we find someone new, but at the same time he hopes we don't.
