I have 2 questions regarding the Paragon/Renegade bars in ME3.

1. Are They going to be a sigle scale/bar, instead of two seperae bars?

2. Are squad mates going to have a Paragon/ Renegade bar? (Muc like KotoR)

This www.google.com/imgres seems like it will be.

I think one of the tweets on the twitter thread said that squad members wouldn't have the bars. As for the single/two seperate bars, I don't know.

I actually hope it's a single bar like the Friendship/Rivalry one in DA2.

I'm just ocd about not having any paragon points in Mass Effect 2, but there's one or two scenes that always seem to give me paragon points no matter my dialogue choices.

1) It's two bars with a thin separation between them...look closely and you will see it.

2) No.

Paragon/Renegade behavior from the Squad mates. I suspect it will be some form of rivalry meter in the end. Shepard's gotta make some tough choices and some might not like it.

from Giant Bomb, they say it was featured on the salarian homeworld.

It has to be two bars. Otherwise, they might as well not have any bar and just have players pick Renegade, Paragon or Neutral Playthrough at the very beginning.  I think I wouldn't even buy the game if the DA friendship/rivalry system were applied to the ME paragon/renegade conversation system.

Linear morality meters are a horrendously bad idea. More so, given that paragon and renegade aren't mutually exclusive 'good and evil'.

Thats what Giant Bomb is saying will take place on the salarian homeworld, part of the new party banter system, I'm guessing.

Also KotOR did one bar system great, just because its one bar dosent mean your decisions wont count, it could be use to gain the support of ne races.

Say you are going to the asari homeworld (for the most part, asari are paragon) And your renegade, you could do a few paragon actions and move the bar towards paragon side to increase your chances of gaining thier support. Just a thought.

You misunderstand me. I am referring to renegade points cancelling out paragon points and vice versa so that in order to have enough of either to pick a paragon/renegade option you'd be forced to pick all paragon or all renegade. Essentially taking away any sense of player driven personality.

I did, and I apologize.

I understand where your coming from, and now makes me not want a single bar.

But from those screens it is, the top is Paragon and bottom is Renegade, the ends are both darkened to show extremeism, and the middle is see-through, thats not a line, its Garrus' armor.

This. Casey explained the squadmate thing was there because those screens weren't quite ready for public display.

Thank you for clearing that up, still squadmates will have Paragon/Renegade behaviors (according to Giant Bomb, im guessing might not be reliable)

They definitely should be separate. It's not just a good/bad meter like in other games. Paragon Shepard does some pretty stupid stuff too. Squadmates aren't going to have a meter pand they probably shouldn't since Shepard is the one making all of the decisions anyway.
